    Empowered female

This review write over there has been written on January 3rd 2022.

What is this episode about: After grandad helps a parent discipline her child. He meets an empowered, strong independent female. She moves into the house and her and grandad aka Robert become an item.

The boys are suspect and their suspicions turned out right that the female grandad loves was a mighty-empowered female.

Riley was on that empowered women talk

Huey was too, but he was more understanding about it.

    Grandad was blind as hash

A PimP Named Slickback makes his debut as a PimP Named Slickback

Highlight: Riley and Huey interaction, the Grocery intro and a PimP Named Slickback

Overall, a mellow, R Rated episode that explores the character of Robert Freeman as being a "lonely" desperate naive individual looking for a companion who will settle for an empowered, strong independent female if necessary.

Should you watch this? Yes. 3 good gems in a row for the Boondocks.

    • Trivia
Before Granddad goes on his date, he and Riley have an argument about whether he has has game, Riley asking "What you know about game?" Their conversation closely mirrors a conversation between Craig (Ice Cube) and his mother (Anna Maria Hosford) in the first Friday (1995), in which she tries to defend that his father has game. In the film, Craig's dad was played by John Witherspoon, who also voices Granddad, while Craig's sister Dana, who was present in the scene laughing at the conversation, was played by Regina King, who also voices Riley and Huey in this series.
    • Goofs
When Riley and Cristal are playing their game, the point at which she jumps up it is clear she is not wearing socks. However next shot she is clearly wearing socks.
