Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, and Cheryl Ladd in Drôles de dames (1976)

Trivia

Angels in Vegas

Drôles de dames

Edit
The Tropicana - the hotel casino owned by Frank Howell (Dean Martin) - was participating in the mob "skim" at the time of airing.
Though many believe the detective series Vegas (1978) is a spin-off, Dan Tanna (played by Robert Urich) was not introduced here, but rather in a pilot that was aired as an ABC TV Movie of the Week on Tuesday, April 25th, 1978 (five months before "Charlie's Angels" aired its third season opener on Wednesday, September 13th, 1978). The crossover was simply used to promote the debut of "Vega$" as an ongoing series (which itself debuted one week later on Wednesday, September 20th, 1978).
Kelly's legs are shown several times here: when she auditions in a leotard, and when she lifts up her skirt to fan her ruffles as she dances can-can. However, Jaclyn Smith cited being bowlegged when she refused to wear a swimsuit in Spain, in the early 1980s, after accepting a TV commercial job offer in that country, where she was to model one-piece bathing suits. One can clearly see here that she made up an excuse, as her lovely legs were then perfectly shaped. Her adamant refusal made all the press in Spain, at the time. Just when they were on the brink of litigation, they settled by having Jaclyn shown at the store buying the swimsuits, rather than trying them on.
Lee Travis (Joan Wells) - who later married the show's writer/producer Edward J. Lakso - previously appeared as a different character in season two's Angel Flight (1977) and later in season four's Love Boat Angels (1979) and season five's Chorus Line Angels (1981).
Both guest stars, Scatman Crothers and Vic Morrow appeared in The Twilight Zone The Movie (1983).
