Trivia

WCW Uncensored

Edit
PPV debut for Ray Lloyd (Glacier), and the on-screen debuts of his Blood Runs Cold nemeses Mortis, Wrath and manager James Vandenberg. During the Glacier-Mortis match, Vandenberg says, "Remember Taipei!" The backstory for the Mortis character was that he had to wear a mask because he had suffered facial injuries while competing in underground pit fighting in Taiwan.
First WCW PPV appearance for Dennis Rodman since Bash at the Beach 1995.
Received an official VHS release in the USA (catalogue number T7084). Also received an official VHS release in the UK (catalogue number WCW002).
In addition to Roddy Piper, "Team Piper" was originally set to include John Tenta, Craig Mally (a boxer), and Layton Morrison (a kick-boxer). However due to poor fan reaction they were replaced by Chris Benoit, Jeff Jarrett and Steve McMichael just 6 days before the PPV.
Dave Meltzer's "The Wrestling Observer Newsletter" gave the Dean Malenko-Eddie Guerrero match 3 3/4 stars and the Ultimo Dragon-Psicosis match 3 1/2 stars out of a maximum possible five.
