As summer approaches, the reality TV landscape is heating up, and audiences are eating it up. For the Bravo-verse that’s translated to record performances across linear and streaming for the latest seasons of Summer House and The Valley.

Season 9 of Summer House, which premiered on February 12, is on track to be the most-watched in series history, per NBCUniversal. The season is averaging 2.2M viewers across all platforms through 35 days of viewing.

Per data from the company, Season 9 is up 5% versus last season across all platforms through seven days. It’s also up an impressive 31% on Peacock alone.

Episodes 11 through 15 really packed a punch, becoming the most-watched episodes of Summer House ever on Peacock in seven days of viewing, up 14% over the previous 10 episodes.

Lexi Wood is leaving Bravo’s Summer House and will not return for Season 10 after one season.

The social media influencer and entrepreneur joined the reality series in Season 9, but as production for the new season ramped up, she announced she was not coming back.

“Well… that wasn’t the summer I signed up for but it definitely taught me a lot,” Wood said in a statement posted on her Instagram Stories. “I stood up for women and for what’s right, even when it wasn’t easy and I’d do that again in a heartbeat.”

She continued, “I’m leaving Summer House with no regrets. (Well… maybe one) I’m proud of the way I handled myself, proud of what I walked away from, and even prouder of what I’m walking toward. Big things are coming! Stay tuned!”

Bravo is heading to the smallest state for some more big drama as it orders its latest spinoff of The Real Housewives.

The NBCUniversal-owned cable network has officially greenlit The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, it said Wednesday.

This comes after rumors the franchise executive produced by Andy Cohen was heading to the Ocean State started in December.

The network did not reveal casting for the series today but said it would be set in the “world of a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations.”

The franchise began in 2006 with The Real Housewives of Orange County and has exploded across America in the last 20 years. Rhode Island marks the 11th traditional spinoff of the series, which currently has franchise in New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Miami, Potomac and Salt Lake City as well as the Oc.

Bravo is sticking with franchises for its new programming slate, which includes the return of Ladies of London, a new spinoff of The Valley and an interesting mashup reboot of Wife Swap.

Ladies of London, The Valley: Persian Style (working title) and Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition will be joined by a new iteration of The Real Housewives franchise set in Rhode Island, the network revealed Wednesday

Ladies of London previously ran for three seasons starting in 2014. It followed six women in the British capital and will be back with a “new wave of British blue bloods, ambitious American expats and glamorous international socialites.” The network didn’t reveal casting for the show.

The original series focused on Juliet Angus, Caprice Bourret, Marissa Hermer, Annabelle Neilson, Noelle Reno and Caroline Stanbury with Julie Montagu, Caroline Fleming and Sophie Stanbury joining during its run after Bourret, Reno and Neilson exited.

Desperate Housewives was a primetime soap on ABC that quickly became a cult classic and has garnered a new generation of fans. Scandal alum Kerry Washington confirmed that a spinoff of the original series is in the works.

On Friday, May 2, Washington and Omar Sy appeared on The View. The two were there to promote their new movie, Shadow Force. However, host Ana Navarro wanted Washington to spill the details on the Desperate Housewives reboot called Wisteria Lane.

“It is rumored that you are working on a remake of Desperate Housewives,” Navarro said. Sy reacted with a gleeful noise. As usual, all of us wanted to know more. That’s when Washington confirmed that the project was in the works.

Poorna Jagannathan plays crime boss Lucky Auntie in the Hulu comedy series Deli Boys — a mix of Tony Soprano and The Real Housewives of Orange County, as Jagannathan describes her — a role that typically is written for a male to portray.

At Deadline’s Contenders TV event on Sunday afternoon, she revealed that series creator Abdullah Saeed had written her character as a male but was encouraged to go in a different direction thanks to some encouragement from Geena Davis.

“Lucky Auntie was written as a guy, as was another character called Agent Mercer,” shared Jagannathan. “Abdullah, the writer, went to a Geena Davis talk, and she basically was like, ‘Look at your script — if you could turn two men into women and it works, do it.’ So that night, he went back, and it became Lucky Auntie instead of Lucky Uncle, and Agent Mercer became a woman as well.

On her podcast with Teddi Mellencamp called Two Ts in a Pod, Judge shared who she thinks a show needs to bring back. The producer and actress spent five seasons on Bravo’s reality series and announced her exit in a social media post ahead of the Season 14 finale.

Beauvais’ Instagram post received an outpouring of messages from her Rhobh co-stars and the Bravo world at large.

Sutton Stracke, Beauvais’ closest friend on the show said, “Congratulations to your next chapter. Can’t wait to see what’s up your sleeve. Nothing but greatness. This I know.”

Andy Cohen, an executive producer on Rhobh, said, “An incredible run from an incredible human. Bravo.”
