Sting says he won’t be wearing a hearing aid ever again.
The 65-year-old music legend recently admitted to being "fairly deaf" and ditching his hearing aid because the device worked better than he anticipated.
“I tried wearing a hearing aid, but I heard more than I wanted to hear!” he told Sirius Xm's Artists Confidential on Tuesday. “People talk a lot of s**t!”
News: Sting and Cirque de Soleil to Perform at NBA All-Star Game
Aside from hearing trouble, the Grammy-winning musician discussed his upcoming 57th & 9th album, which is named after the daily route that he walks through New York City.
"Walking has always been important to me," said Sting. "The binary rhythm of walking invokes narrative. 57th & 9th became this taking-stock point."
The U.K. native, who has called the Big Apple home for several years, gets a lot of inspiration from the city that never sleeps.

Chris Brown is remembering who supported him through all the troubles — and it isn’t Rihanna. After she recently burnt the letter he gave her, he tweeted out a new message that definitely sounded like a dig!
Chris Brown is starting 2014 thankful for those who have helped him succeed — and no, Rihanna that doesn’t include you! We know that he was angry that she was getting rid of the things he gave her, but more than anything, he’s moving forward. He said it all in a new message.

Jason Segel and Nick Stoller first met up on the Judd Apatow college comedy TV series “Undeclared” just over a decade ago. The show was far from the first attempt to tackle the freshman college experience, but it was one of the more fresh and realistic, a warts-and-all portrayal of the often difficult transition from childhood to the real word.
The idea might have been a bit ahead of its time initially, but in recent years audiences are finally starting to tire of cookie cutter Hollywood comedies. After Apatow broke out with “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and “Knocked Up,” he helped many of his past collaborators get their own projects going as a producer. Segel and Stoller’s first feature collaboration, the 2008 sleeper hit “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” took audiences by surprise for many reasons. It continued the wave of hard-r comedies finally penetrating the mainstream, but also broke barriers with its unapologetic male full-frontal scene.

Some would say we need a break from vampire films. But I say nay. As long as they don't sparkle and mope, and I get to see massive carnage, bring on the creatures of the night.
Blakk Flamingo Pictures is answering the call on DVD this November with their first feature film, Bite Marks.
Bite Marks is also the first feature film for writer/director Mark Bessenger. Starring Windham Beacham (Long-Term Relationship), David Alanson, and Benjamin Lutz (The Love Patient), Bite Marks also features old Evil Ed himself, Stephen Geoffreys (Fright Night, 976-evil, The Weeping Woman).
From the Press Release:
Bite Marks is the creep-tastic dark tale of a truck driver named Brewster (Lutz), who is confronted by a bloody scary revelation: the delivery that he has accepted to take over from his missing brother, which he must transport to a funeral home, contains a load of coffins.

Mark Bessenger Hey horror fans. Remember how we've all been complaining about an array of lifeless horror film remakes and bland horror film concepts? So when something comes along that tries to give us something different, something edgy, we should be out there supporting it, right? ....Well Bite Marks starring Windham Beacham, Benjamin Lutz, David Alanson and Stephen Geoffreys, is that film! Bite Marks deals with a truck driver and a gay couple who must fight off a pack of blood thirsty vampires after their truck breaks down in the middle of a lumber yard and it turns out their cargo is a coffin carrying vamps. What makes Bite Marks different is its humor, the way that its characters develop, the merger of horror/comedy/gay indie film, etc. You're probably saying to yourself though "but that's the gay vampire film?". Gay, straight, black, white, low budget, big budget -...

Date of birth: 2nd April 1960
Phobias – I am about to find out!
Missing any special occasion? No.
Relationship status: Long-term relationship
As a former Olympic and World Champion, Linford Christie is used to training hard but he says nothing can prepare him for life in the jungle.
The 50-year-old track runner, who is the only British man to have won gold medals in the 100 metres at all four major competitions open to British athletes, admits taking part in the programme is something completely out of his comfort zone.
“When you are competing for a race, you know what you are doing,” he explains. “This is unknown. It is going to be hard work and you do wonder what it is going to be like.
“I am trying not to think about it too much though as otherwise it will stress you out. The best thing to do...

There’s really something of a holiday movie curse, isn’t there? Hundreds of Christmas movies have been made over the years, but most are terrible. You can count the number of decent ones on one hand.
I’d love to be able to say that Make the Yuletide Gay, the latest film from gay indie writer-director Rob Williams (Long-Term Relationship, Back Soon), breaks the holiday movie curse.
It doesn’t.
I feel like I have a lump of coal in my heart writing a negative review of this sweet, simple gay-themed holiday comedy. But it’s just not a very good movie.
Gunn, a young gay college student who is totally out on campus, still hasn’t come out to his parents. On the way home for the Christmas holidays, he stops at a public restroom to “de-gay” himself, changing his clothes and messing up his hair (but disappointing...

I loved this quote from last night's Dating in the Dark: "It sucks that this is what my personality looks like," contestant Kelly complained after a sketch artist, prompted by date Cormac's "blind" impression of her, produced a sullen angst-monster instead of a bubbly idiot with a toothy grin. (I thought that sketch looked kind of hot, but whatever.) "I don't care what i look like -- dark hair, natty, dreads, fat face," Kelly went on. "If my face didn't come across as smiling, that's terrible." Honey, stop talking because you sound terrible. Kelly and Cormac, the soulful musician whose guitar poses sexily on his bed when no one but a television crew is around, were the only two who met up on the Balcony of Terror this week! I appreciated Shannon's honesty about Jeff being too molest-y right away, and even Misty's honesty about how she couldn't get beyond...

If his career keeps moving in the same direction, Matthew Montgomery may end up being the gay Parker Posey. Having played leads in at least seven independent features in just five years, plus another handful of supporting roles, he has established his indie street cred at a time when gay cinema seems to be exploding. Fans of gay cinema will probably remember Montgomery from Gone, But Not Forgotten, Long-term Relationship and the supernatural-tinged Back Soon.
Getting his start in Reign Of The Dead, a living dead short lensed in and around “Zombie Ground Zero,” Pittsburgh, he’s made his way up the indie food chain and appeared in other genre films, including Socket (which I wrote and directed, natch), Fear House and the upcoming Pornography.
But Montgomery isn’t just an actor in horror and sci-fi flicks; he’s a fan of them as well. A professed sci-fi nerd, Montogmery...
