The Whisperers

1 review
9/10

Awesome movie that will surely take you surprise

I had a chance to watch this movie at a South Asian Film Festival in New York City in October/November 2008.

The movie starts off pretty sedately but continuously raises the curiosity of the viewer and takes you by a surprise. The tempo is very well managed and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I loved it very much and I wish the makers of this movie all the best commercially and hope they keep making such movies.

Rahul Bose has really come a long way as an actor. When he started off he seemed like a honest trier but now he manages to communicate very well with his facial expressions, eyes and body language. It is great to see people like him, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shourie doing so well. Manoj Bajpai, as you would expect from him, does well. His English accent leaves a bit to be desired though. Tara Sharma looks good and Kim Sharma is wasted in that itsy-bitsy role.

Must watch -- If you can lay your hands on it :-)
