Another poor effort...

I sincerely consider this movie as another poor effort of Dominican Movie Industry. The first 30 minutes of the movie are a little funny but then when they switch their role in the society (men doing what women usually do and women doing what men usually do) the movie falls. Becoming boring and not funny at all. They let many things without explanation and the end of the movie is predictable. I didn't like the way as a Roberto Angel played his character and his little either. I went to the movies theater hoping to see a good work but I went out really disappointed.

I don't recommend this movie.

awful movie, it has no point

It has a great name, but thats it and you wont get more than that for your money, in fact the first 30-40mins of the movie you might find it some kind of funny but after that the story goes from one side to another with no particular reason and you just cant understand whats happening until the action its gone.

And yet the producers (Roberto Angel Salcedo) calls him an actor, but i don't think the way he does could be called nothing but overacting!!....period. The little kid who plays as his son has totally no sense of acting and i believe it was just a favor he did or something because he had no clue of what he was doing.

For some reason while doing the casting they thought that by casting comedians they could made it, but they didn't!! and sometimes the tasteless cheap humor its so bad, i don't buy it.

But hopefully this is as bad as it gets. To make people accept those DVD's to the good taste public they will have to offer some food with it, that might work out.

Great and Funny Surprise

After severals failed intents of DR movie makers, finally come true an enjoyable and well done comedy. Try not to miss this movie, cause you will keep laughing from the beginning to the end. The Director can catch the good sense of humor of the Dominican People. In a City of a Carribbean Island, where the power of the Macho still remains in the structure of the family, a young wife try to change the way of living of his happy and foot-loose husband who spent all his free time to hang out with his two job pals and young girls. The solution is given to her in an amulet: "amanzaguapo" it's power will revolve the life not only of the husband, even his friends.

good job

I've seen this movie, and I think it was a good production, in order to understand Dominican movies, people must understand Dominican speech, I think Roberto did a great job on this movie, of course there is always place for improvement, but time and experience always yield its fruits. if you are Dominican and watch this movie, you will enjoy it, because shows a reality of our society. the movie starts very nice, with very nice music, later slows down, and the part which I did not understand, it's that when Ramon it is given the "Amanza Guapo", he was supposed to change, but everybody changed, and if I am not wrong one of the ladies said, if this works for you then I will try it as well, any way, I love this movie.
