A very bad remake

The story is based on the a Hungarian movie with similar title from 1943 with the very good artist Kálmán Latabár. It's a very common Hungarian comedy with lots of misunderstandings. But my conclusion is, that is still is a very bad remake. Szonja Oroszlán - Pintér Ibolya should remain at singing, she isn't acting very good and is as swivel-eyed as it's really annoying. Andras Kern - Gács Kálmán and Imre Bajor - Borsai Lajos are pretty good but nothing unusual. Their acting performance not above the standards of an average Hungarian TV comedy. Kitty Kéri - Dulcinea de la Rosa is beautiful as usual, but that is not enough to act. Maybe Péter Rudolf, the main character - Sóvári Péter is the best. The theme of the movie is out of fashion.

Old fashion modern comedy

I didn't know this film is a remake, so I just watched it without knowing anything about it. And I liked it. It's a quite good comedy I'd say. Bajor, Kern and Rudolf are great actors, they perform as usual. Szonja Oroszlán is not an actress, unfortunately and we could see this in other movies, too, however the role she played suited her. The story is OK, it's funny, I could even laugh sometimes. What I didn't like: Bajor's character is not the type of a man who could be loved by a young attractive woman like the one played by Szonja Oroszlán. Can money buy love? You'll find out watching the movie. It's not a 10/10 film, but enjoyable, maybe 6.7 from 10.

maybe the best movie ever in Hungary

I have seen this movie for the first time, about one year ago. since then i watched for a couple times and i just can't get bored of it. it is true that not all the actors are the best, i am referring especially to Oroszlan Szonja, who often made me mad during the movie. it is so obvious that she is not an actress and even more she had a very bad role in the movie. too bad i wasn't the one to choose the actors.... Otherwise it's a great comedy, i often laughed. Keri Kitty is a very beautiful actress, i was stunned by her beauty and her good stile of acting. maybe it is one of the best movies that Hungary ever had. I suggest everyone to watch it at least once, because you will not be disappointed.
