I saw that show when I was little and it was excellent. Adair Chappell as Tusky was perfect. Kaci Garcia as Casey and Andrew Goodman as Carter where cute. Steven Jaquith as Sheriff Knickerbocker, Wendy Westerwelle as the Male Blackbird, and Kellie Johnson as Princess Jennie where Hilarius. Whats not funny that Tusky gets hurt. Whats funny that Sheriff Knickergocker dances Hilarius. The train and Cubby where interesting. Whats also funny the black birds and the kids do a story about Jack and Jill fly away. No one can be sad if the movie is done. This Wee Sing Show is excellent I hope the kids will like this movie and the excellent music.
As a mom of three I can honestly say I have become something of a connoisseur of children's videos. This one is definitely a standout for several reasons. This piece is about an hour long and it chronicles the adventures of two kids as they shrink down to the size of their toys and take a ride around their room on the train track that they built, complete with stops along the way. Very imaginative. At each stop they meet the characters that they set up and sing a few favorite children's songs. All the players are very enthusiastic. My kids are in the pool right now singing one of the songs. When my ten-year-old was about two we bought the video for him because he was crazy for trains. I remember he sat on the floor in front of the television and I began folding laundry thinking "no way is he gonna sit through this whole thing." I don't think he blinked during the entire show. When the credits rolled his face crumpled and he began to cry! When I asked him what was the matter he said "it's over!" So of course we rewound (before DVDs) and played it again! Nine years later it has seen so much action I am amazed that it works at all!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Get ready to catch a musical ride on the Wee Sing train with Casey and Carter and their friends. Come explore the open range, the farm, and the mountains. One major lesson in this Wee Sing video is one we learn from Tusky the elephant. Every time she tries to help someone with something, she usually gets hurt. It's better to be safe than sorry. In other words, it's best to have someone help you if you're doing anything dangerous or complicated. Of course, there are several train related songs like "I've Been Working on the Railroad."
There are many other Wee Sing video titles I have reviewed that I also recommend for you to watch.
