If you think Fantasy Island is already a magical place, wait until you see how the tropical location becomes a winter wonderland on this special episode. “God bless our production design department,” says Roselyn Sánchez, who stars as enigmatic host Elena Roarke. “It’s very [tricky] to create a mountain full of snow, but they wanted to go all out!” The two-hour treat welcomes a pair of guests, both with holiday hopes: A doctor (Geri-Nikole Love) searches for the husband (Mackenzie Astin) who disappeared a year earlier, and a harried CEO (Lindsey Kraft) dreams of a Hallmark movie–caliber Christmas, complete with a quaint inn, flurries and frosted windowpanes. Former Los Angeles Lakers guard and current South Bay Lakers player Andre Ingram racked up some significant cash winnings on Wheel of Fortune. Ingram was a guest on Friday’s Secret Santa edition of the show, where he proved to be a natural at guessing word clues. While he failed to solve the game’s final puzzle, Ingram still walked away with an impressive $31,750, which will be donated to one lucky fan. Speaking after the episode, Ingram said he was “probably more nervous” doing Wheel of Fortune than playing basketball. “You know, basketball, you’re so used to it. I’ve been doing it for years. This is like, you know, once in a lifetime.” Tonight’s Secret Santa episode was a slam dunk for André! He won over $31,000! Hurry and check your Spin ID to see if you won all that cash, too! https://t.co/JB1AVJCnhV @MaggieSajak pic.

There were two big winners for the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.
While the NBA basketball team was pounding the Oklahoma City Thunder, beating them 116-95, former Lakers guard and current South Bay Lakers player Andre Ingram was a cash winner on the syndicated game show Wheel of Fortune.
Ingram appeared Friday as a guest for the “Secret Santa” episode of the show. He won $31,750, missing out on a potential $39,000 by failing to solve the game’s final puzzle.
Ingram said he would donate the lump sum to a fan, but specifics were not immediately available on the how and when of that.
After the show, Ingram confessed to more nerves about the TV show than playing in the NBA.
Ingram is currently trying to get back in the league, and is the NBA G-League’s all-time leader in 3-pointers.

Over the course of the franchise, Power Rangers has celebrated different holidays many times. In the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, the one that started it all, the holidays always delivered the message that it was more important to foster the spirit of togetherness than worry about gift-giving.

While the audience can't argue with that, there's also a time-honored tradition among friends and co-workers of Secret Santa gift exchanges. Drawing names from a hat and establishing a price limit — while keeping the gift recipient's identity a secret — makes for a fun way for people to curb their spending and focus their energy on one gift instead of several. If the characters in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers participated in Secret Santa, the results would be pretty entertaining.
