OK, if you are going to make an action flick please try and concentrate on the script. The action sequences are also something that makes one laugh out loud...Fake! The script is bogus with many plot holes. This film could have been OK if they concentrated on the script and had more realistic action sequences. Sunny Deol needs to start acting in some better movies. This and Teesri Ankh absolutely suck. When I was watching this movie(Big Brother) i wasn't really expecting much since the reviews were disappointing. I was just expecting an action film. This movie got boring very quickly. Their in nothing really original. One guy after all the goons and villains. The hero whooping ass left and right. You also have the politicians and the love sequence. From the first 20 minutes into the film, you already know what is going to happen. The dialogues are also really disappointing due to the lack of originality. Everything is just so fake. Even the acting is below average. Their is either a happy or an angry sunny deol...Nothing else. Priyanka Chopra hams as well as Farida Jalal. Everyone is horrible in this film. The direction, screenplay and story are all below average. BIG disappointment!
This movie makes excellent story based and shows acting skills in sunny deol movie Absolutely beautiful story and acting I like This movie sunny works superb.

Big Brother (formerly Deodhar Gandhi) is a good action movie! Only Sunny Deol could pull this one off well. Big Brother is truly the 21st century Ziddi with lots of action (not as explosive as Ziddi but good anyways) and a different plot. Action is good for the most part (a little toning for special effects could help). This movie is a surprise hit at the BO as it really does carry a social message. Recommended for all action fans (especially all Sunny fans)!! I can give this a 9/10! Some things could have been different, but Sunny fans will like it! I look forward to many more great action movies for years to come. All the best Paaji!!
Sunny deol (Deodhar Gandhi) is the 50+ big brother cum hero of the society, a guy who with an experience of 50 years decides to brings justice to society through violent means, a tit for tat solutions to the wrong doers. This decision of Deodhar Gandhi takes a heavy toll on his life. Ultimately it ends in violence only but it eliminates the antagony. It is similar to the film Indian where both Danny and Sunny are villain and hero, but with characters being opposite. Here Sunny is the law breaker and Danny the policeman.
Deodhar thinks of delivering justice to the society and nobody dares to speak a beep infront of him, except his mother, it's ofcourse true for a 50+ year old guy. He criticize MK Gandhi for his non violent means, reflects nothing but the scriptwriter's opinion about modern day solutions to common problems. It stands as an average concept in modern times, as it was a millenia ago. By dint of the social service provided by Deodhar, villains around him starts to create problems for him and remove him from his rising popularity and power. This war goes on with losses and gain on both sides. Danny is the antagony who succeeds in hitting Deodhar among many of his enemies, and it ends in the final war between danny and sunny. The climax is obvious, where sunny emerges winner with a lot of social support.
The film is entertaining, especially the character deodhar played by sunny, where he just achieves super power kinda strengths to beat up villains in a slow and calm manner without being restless or excited, explaining truths to them among beating episodes still going on. The beatings are really hilarious where a single blow of sunny kinda brings bones and muscles out of the body, a single beep from deodhar's mouth silences the experienced professionals etc. It has a progressive story with characters well placed and acted out well, but realistic appeals are heavily ignored. The villain 'Bhau' seems unnecessary, put only to lengthen the film, an attempt to make interesting. The film is slow paced, due to sunny's role and other roles are fine too. Watch it to see Sunny and Danny as usual theme of good vs bad. A 59 on a scale of 100.
