Poor directory

It was like watching a community theater play. The actors did their job, but it looked like a first year acting class.

The landlord acts like someone that you would rent any shop from. He was totally out of place. One minute he acts like a crazy person off the street the next minute he wants rent money.

The mother and father in the airport act like people from another time period. And, the father in the backyard, has no real movement to the music, just bad!!!!!

The rock singer over acted his part. Acted as someone living in Austin, not Houston.

The director didn't give them real directions.

The man she was going to marry acted like he didn't know her, but lived with her. His brother acted like real person.

Poor writing, poor directing.

Sweet predictable romance

New frou frou sweet treat bakery owner Mary cannot seem to make anything work - her shop is in trouble, her fiancé seems allergic to everything she likes, and her family wants her to come home for a visit which turns into an engagement party and then....her fiancé's twin brother (Jake) enters the mix.... and brings more smiles than growls of irritation than Mary could have imagined.

The characters in this film were down-to-earth, from allergic reactions to stumbling on stage. This movie was a joy to watch given it was void of unnecessary sub-plots and character reveals who divert the attention from the main storyline. Simple and easy-going from start to finish with a focus on the importance of family no matter how quirky those members may be made it even better.
