Originally set for Paramount release March 18, Netflix will stream the animated movie August 5—and, Netflix tells Indiewire, they will open the movie day and date in theaters in advance of a full-scale Oscar campaign.
Adapted by top American animator Mark Osborne (“Kung Fu Panda”) from the 1943 French children’s classic by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (which has been translated into 260 languages and is still a staple on children’s bookshelves), “The Little Prince” premiered at Cannes 2015 to rave reviews.
Since then Osborne has attended 12 international premieres and the $80-million movie has grossed more than $100 million around the world. Designed from the start as an English-language film that would be dubbed for foreign countries, “The Little Prince” succeeded overseas, doing best in China ($25 million), Italy ($10.5 million) and France ($12 million), where it won the Cesar for Best Animated Feature.

This was not the 40th edition of the “Festival of Festivals” that Toronto was hoping for. The 2015 Toronto International Festival began with legal issues forcing the Aretha Franklin concert documentary “Amazing Grace” to cancel its opening night slot and has pretty much ended with the withdraw of the Amber Heard drama “London Fields” after director Matthew Cullen took the film’s producers to court claiming (among other things) that they re-edited the film without his input. Considering how weak the world premieres were overall this year it was par the course for a festival’s whose opening weekend was colder and rainier than in recent memory. Granted, There were certainly a lot of good movies that screened at the fest this year, but almost every single one of them debuted somewhere else. That’s not good for an event that considers itself one of the premier film festivals in the world.

Sienna Miller has reportedly joined William H. Macy in the crime thriller "Freaky Deaky" according to the official site of ArcLight Films (via The Playlist).
Charles’ Matthau’s adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s classic 1970's-set novel has Miller playing a former radical turned romance novelist who tracks down her old partner in crime, a movie special effects man, for one last score.
Their target: a wealthy alcoholic (William H Macy) whom she blames for sending her to prison. Trouble is, she ain't the only one after him as both a suspended cop and a former Black Panther want to join in on the gig.
Camille Belle was previously linked the film, but there is now no mention of her on the website.

We have a couple quick casting notes to report. First up, Paul Schneider (Lars and the Real Girl) will star in Broken Lizard's new movie The Baby Maker. While Broken Lizard will star and the troupe's Jay Chandrasekhar will direct, the script was penned by Ice Age: The Meltdown writers Peter Gaulke and Gerry Swallow. Per Variety, "Story follows a married couple who fail to conceive after months of trying, prompting the husband to enlist his friends' help to rob a Pasadena sperm bank, where he made a deposit as a young man. All of the Broken Lizard members are expected to co-star, with Kevin Heffernan playing the protag's crazy best friend, who hooks him up with an Estonian master thief, played by Chandrasekhar. Other Broken Lizard members include Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske." Why the sperm bank wouldn't simply give him back his own seed is beyond me.

Seth Rogen won't sign a prenuptial agreement before getting married. "The Green Hornet" star insists he has no intention of drawing up legal documents to protect his fortune before he ties the knot with his fiancee Lauren Miller later this year.
The comic actor was pushed on the subject during an appearance on DJ Howard Stern's radio show. When quizzed by the shock jock on whether or not he was going to get a prenup, he said, "I'm not. My business manager told me to get one."
Stern then told Seth how "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer is going to have to hand over around $50 million to his ex-wife Camille in their divorce settlement. But despite the warnings, he replied, "Marriage can be expensive and if I lose millions then it'll be the best millions I've spent."

Craig here with another Take Three.
Today: James Franco
Well hell, if I didn’t feature James Franco on Take Three now I never will. His largely supporting career is likely to spill over into full-time leading man status any day now. I’d bet my Spider-Man box-set that in seven months he’ll have either a Best Actor Oscar sat on his desk or at least a well-deserved nomination as consolation; his lead role in Danny Boyle’s freshly-completed true-life tale 127 Hours will surely see him shunted up a few rungs on both the awards and career ladder.
<-- Franco in the true story 127 Hours
Either way, this time next year Franco may very well be beating off his peers for bigger, meatier roles in even more substantial fare (The Rise of Franco may coincide with The Rise of the Apes), or he may continue alternating occasional leads with...

In love, there are always new stories to be told. But is this the same when it comes to movies? Or for that matter, movies about love? We’ve seen so many romantic comedies roll from opening credits (Diane Keaton, Cary Grant, Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, etc), through the first kiss and the last one. When the final credits drop into the screen, some cry, some laugh, but most feel a strong feeling of satisfaction.
You see, love is constantly changing and movies just try to keep up and use the old stories to create new ones. In an attempt to create a new story about a timeless topic, Camille changes all the rules. Our main character, Camille (Sienna Miller), is a blonde beauty who always gets what she wants. That sounds vain, but it isn’t. She is the opposite of vain. In fact she is aloof and charming,...

Miller Blasts Franco Romance Rumors
Sienna Miller has slammed reports she's dumped boyfriend Jude Law to start up a romance with her latest leading man, James Franco. Miller's representative, Ciara Parkes, tells American publication People photos that were published of the couple together were actually pictures from a scene they were shooting for the film Camille. She explains, "The pictures of Sienna were of her doing a scene at Niagara Falls with James. There were about a thousand people around them and it was a sad scene, the last scene of the movie. They are just joking about during takes." Miller and her 28-year-old co-star have been shooting the film in Canada for the past month. Meanwhile, Law has been filming My Blueberry Nights in New York City. Miller and Law were spotted together in the Big Apple several weeks ago, but haven't been seen together since. Photos of Franco and Miller looking cozy on set sparked rumors of an affair But a friend of Miller's tells the magazine there is no rift between the celebrity couple saying, "Sienna and Jude are still very much an item. Just because they are working in different locations doesn't mean they've split up. She and James are friends and even actors are entitled to have friends."...
