Zee 5’s Crime Beat has given us a great political drama to both enjoy and ponder over, with a handful of crime thriller elements. There’s always risk when a show begins explosively, but Crime Beat continues to keep you hooked throughout. The ending of the show is pretty definitive, which I thought was a good creative decision. In this article we’re mainly going to discuss that, along with the possibility of the show getting another season.
Spoilers Ahead
What’s the show about?
Crime Beat opens with wanted criminal Binny Chaudhary getting shot by someone when he’s about to surrender in Indirapuram, Delhi. Then the story takes us back to a while ago, and we now follow crime journalist Abhishek Sinha, who’s struggling to find a good story (and a big break). Binny is hiding in Afghanistan, and thanks to a treaty between the Afghan and Indian governments,...

There's a moment near the climax of 2018's "Black Panther" when you realize, while watching it for the first time, that a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is about to stick the landing on one of the greatest superhero stories told in any medium. It isn't Okoye's (Danai Gurira) stand-off with her traitorous husband (Daniel Kaluuya), nor is it the heartbreaking death of the lost prince Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan).
It's Chadwick Boseman, rising with the sun over his subjects on the plains of Wakanda, proclaiming to his would-be usurper, "I never yielded!" It's arguably the best moment in the entire MCU -- and it undeniably cemented Boseman as a performer with an incomparable mixture of dramatic gravitas, genre savvy, and sheer talent.

What Did Dwayne Johnson Reveal About His Battle With Depression? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Before Dwayne Johnson, aka “The Rock,” became everyone’s go-to guy for action-packed blockbusters and eyebrow-raising charisma, he faced something far more challenging than any wrestling ring or Hollywood set: depression. Back in 2018, Johnson opened up about his struggles with mental health, showing fans that even the “big guy” isn’t invincible.
It all started with a raw confession. Johnson revealed some heartbreaking moments, including a near-tragedy with his mom when he was just a teen. “She walked into oncoming traffic,” he shared during an interview with The Express, recalling how he pulled her back to safety. That moment stuck with him, leading to his own battles with sadness and isolation. “I hit a low where I didn’t want to do anything or see anyone,” he admitted. Yeah, even The Rock cried.

Dancing with the Stars, (DWTS) Pro-dancer, Artem Chigvintsev was arrested for alleged domestic violence and now, more details are emerging on what went down when 911 was called. Interestingly, it seems that it was not his wife, Nikki Garcia who made the call.
Cops Look Into Artem Chigvintsev’s History
Dancing With the Stars fans were expecting that Artem would appear in Season 33 of the show, as he paired with Bachelorette Charity Lawson last season. However, it seemed that the domestic clash might have been triggered by ABC’s decision not to use him.
Initial reports suggested that the cops might suspect Artem Chigvintsev of having a history of domestic violence. However, so far nothing has been released that indicates there is any truth in that. As he and Nikki “Bella” Garcia raise a sweet little boy, Matteo, aged four, fans hope there’s no truth to it.

Joan Vassos is the first lead for the Golden Bachelorette and she took the role because she felt that her late husband would have wanted her to go for it. Apparently, he loved reality TV. Well, it seems that TV cameras like her as well as she looked stunning in pink and lilac while filming.
Joan Vassos Was Spotted Filming
The ABC show will appear in the fall of this year, and Golden Bachelorette fans are keen to find out who her contestants are. She seems excited about the chance to try and find happiness, even if she gets mocked at the school where she’s an administrator. Speaking about kissing on TV, she imagined the all-boy student body would cringe a bit. Still, she wants to go for it.

GoldenEye director Martin Campbell revealed that Henry Cavill would've played James Bond if not for Daniel Craig.
Talking to The Express, Campbell recounted the then-22-year-old Cavill's audition for Casino Royale. "He looked great in the audition. His acting was tremendous. And look, if Daniel didn’t exist Henry would have made an excellent Bond. He looked terrific, he was in great physical shape… very handsome, very chiselled. Season 1 of "Reacher" ended in much the same way as most of Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels: with the eponymous ex-military police officer hitch-hiking out of town. As Blind Blake's "Police Dog Blues" plays out over the closing shots and the bluesman croons the refrain, "All my life I've been a travelin' man," Prime Video's hugely popular series hammers home the point that Jack Reacher doesn't stay in one place too long.
Before leaving the fictional town of Margrave, Georgia, Alan Ritchson's Reacher makes sure to visit Willa Fitzgerald's Roscoe Conklin to reveal, in particularly grandiose fashion, that "A hundred thousand years ago there were people who stayed by the campfire and people who wandered. I'm pretty sure I'm a direct descendent of the wandering type." But Reacher is, of course, descended solely from the pen of Lee Child, who envisioned the character as a sort...

Ted Lasso season 3 introduces a new character in episode 2, and here is who plays Zava in Ted Lasso. The series has primarily had the same cast of characters around Jason Sudeikis' Ted Lasso since the beginning. Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster), Sam Obisanya (Toheeb Jimoh), Dani Rojas (Cristo Fernández), and others have become staples of the AFC Richmond team as a result. However, the first episode of Ted Lasso season 3 included a tease that the AFC Richmond roster could change as Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) wants a team talented enough to compete in the Premier League.
Episode 2 introduced a character named Zava as a soccer star that the entire Premier League wants a chance to sign. Despite his oftentimes troubling behavior and a tendency to repeatedly transfer from one club to another, AFC Richmond, West Ham, and Chelsea are just a few of the teams that express interest in acquiring him. Warning: contains major spoilers for Unforgotten Series 4.
Two years on, we’re still not over Nicola Walker’s shock departure from Unforgotten.
When Walker’s character Dci Cassie Stuart – the ITV crime drama’s much-loved lead detective – was involved in a car crash in the penultimate episode of Series Four in 2021, she was expected to miraculously pull through… and then didn’t. The brain injuries Cassie sustained in the side-on smash with a speeding car thief were too severe for her to recover from.
Fans watched in shock as Cassie’s family received the news in hospital, and colleague Di Sunny Khan ended the series by placing flowers on her grave, accompanied by a touching monologue. “She longest lives, who most to others gives, herself forgetting” read the inscription on the headstone.
Khan wasn’t the only one in mourning, Unforgotten’s fans also grieved the shock loss of the character.

Machine Gun Kelly‘s guitarist, Sophie Lloyd, has attracted a social media firestorm after fans claimed that she had played a role in his alleged split from fiancee Megan Fox.

Sean Connery truly embodied the role of James Bond, which is likely why he has been voted as the "best Bond of all time," beating Daniel Craig for the title (via The Express). Connery was the first of seven actors to portray British secret agent 007, and his effortless charm makes him many fans' favorite incarnation of the character to this day.
A lot of Connery's goodwill amongst the Bond fanbase comes from the fact that he starred in many of the most celebrated James Bond films of all time, as 007's initial string of '60s adventures is seen as a golden age for the franchise. Connery's best Bond movies give the Scottish actor a chance to show off his brute physicality and wry sense of humor.

In August 2020, the world of cinema lost one of its shining stars: Chadwick Boseman. Best known for his ground-breaking performance as King T’Challa in the Marvel movie Black Panther, Boseman created a legacy for himself that future actors will find difficult to rival. As a stage and screen performer, he was simply sublime, and he was an even better human being. To many people, he was considered a deity – a god-like figure who provided a whole community with a hero to look up to.
Chadwick Boseman was taken from this earth far, far too early. If you wish to honor him in the best way possible, you should check out his extensive array of amazing films.

The late Chadwick Boseman made just 15 films before his shocking, devastating death last week from colon cancer. But many of those 15 movies had already left an undeniable and in some cases massive impact on cinema, even before becoming the permanent legacy of an incredible actor taken from us far too soon.
Not only did his portrayal of King T’Challa in Marvel’s Black Panther and three other Marvel Cinematic Universe entries change film history itself, but he brought some of the most important figures in both Black and American culture to the screen. Jackie Robinson and Thurgood Marshall were American heroes of gigantic stature, and Boseman managed to introduce them to new generations of viewers through his sensitive, complex portrayals.

Actor Chadwick Boseman, who gained international recognition in Marvel's Black Panther, has died, according to multiple news reports and confirmed by his official social media account. He was 43. Boseman began appearing in U.S. television shows in 2003 and made his big-screen debut in a supporting role in The Express (2008). He broke out big in the U.S. through his portrayals of Black icons, first as baseball legend Jackie Robinson in 42 (2013) and then as 'the hardest working man in show business,' James Brown, in Get on Up (2014). An appearance in Alex Proyas' Gods of Egypt (2016) didn't hurt, but it was his first appearance as T'Challa, aka Black Panther, in Captain America: Civil War (2016) that electrified audiences worldwide. Starring roles in...

Chadwick Boseman, who was the star of the enormously successful Marvel film Black Panther, has died of colon cancer at age 43.
He kept his diagnosis and four-year struggle against the disease quiet from the public. Boseman died Friday at home in Los Angeles with his wife and family present, according to his publicist.

The Walking Dead fans are still waiting for the final episode of season 10 to air following coronavirus disruption, but at least they’re using their time productively. Many of them appear to have been binging old seasons of the zombie show and picking out glaring factual inaccuracies that slipped under the radar the first time around. The latest plot hole to come to light dates back to season 5 and concerns fan-favorite character Abraham Ford, who was, of course, brutally killed by Negan at the end of the following season.
However, as reported by The Express, some viewers have pointed out that the former army sergeant shouldn’t have even been alive to bear the brunt of the villain’s baseball bat by that point. In the fifth episode of season 5, titled “Self Help,” Abraham sets off on a mission to Washington D.C. with Eugene, Rosita and other survivors in...

Though No Time to Die has been postponed to November in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, there is still a hushed excitement surrounding what will surely be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final time as 007.
It’ll mark the end of an era, then – an era filled with remarkable highs (see: Casino Royale and Skyfall) and disappointing lows. Here’s looking at you, Quantum of Solace. But with True Detective‘s Cary Joji Fukunaga behind the lens for Bond 25, fans are quietly optimistic that Craig’s last hurrah will be one to remember.
This, of course, begs the question: who will be the one to pick up the mantle (and license to kill) in Craig’s absence? Well, according to Bond expert and author Robbie Sims (h/t The Express), it’s unlikely to be Idris Elba. In fact, Sims even goes so far as to suggest that, while Elba...

Star Wars fans have been obsessed with uncovering the truth about Rey’s parentage since 2015’s The Force Awakens. So much so that Kylo Ren’s revelation about her folks being nobodies from Jakku in The Last Jedi hasn’t swayed the torrent of fan theories out there connecting Daisy Ridley’s heroine to various characters, usually the Skywalkers or the Solos.

The release of the first trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX is sure to generate a lot of headlines. For one thing, the franchise is now at the centre of some half-baked culture war, while Star Wars also has something to prove after the flop of Solo: A Star Wars Story. Plus, you can be sure that many people will be scrutinizing every frame of the resurrected Carrie Fisher. Beyond all that, though, it’s also the finale of the trilogy and the final chapter in the nine-film Skywalker saga. With all that to accomplish, it would be very nice to see a preview or at minimum learn the film’s official title sometime soon.
Well, according to rumors that have been flying around, we’re going to get just that during the Chicago Star Wars Celebration. The event kicks off on April 11th, with an Episode IX panel taking place at 11am on Friday,...

It's long been rumored that J.J. Abrams plans on tying all of the previous trilogies together with Star Wars 9, which is being described as the ultimate franchise adventure. Now it's being rumored that the director is pulling in elements from the animated TV shows as well. Recently leaked concept art suggests that Luke Skywalker will be teaming up with a fan favorite from Star Wars Rebels.
Star Wars Rebels ended with a juicy time jump that showed most of the characters were still alive in the era of the original trilogy. Now it's being reported that Ezra Bridger will join the climactic end fight aboard Maz Kanata's pirate ship in Star Wars 9. And it sounds pretty plausible, if not a little wonky.

Every cinematic villain needs a dark and seedy lair in which they can mull over their evil master plan – and Darth Vader is no different.
The notorious Star Wars legend typically spends his days and nights ruminating within the blackened, obsidian walls of his castle on Mustafar, a far-flung molten planet replete with a waterfall made up of lava.

One of the best bits of The Last Jedi was when Rey finally found out who her parents were. It was a question that had occupied the minds of Star Wars fans ever since The Force Awakens, with most assuming she’d turn out to be the secret heir to one of the great Jedi dynasties (most likely a Skywalker of some kind).
So, it was quite the delicious anticlimax when Kylo Ren casually revealed that they were “filthy junk traders who sold you on for drinking money. They’re dead. A few new cast members have been added to Star Wars 9, but none have caused the kind of speculation that Keri Russell has. Her character remains a mystery, but many believe she is playing Rey's dirtbag mom, who got drunk with her lover and left the poor Force sensitive child on Jakku. Others have suggested that, with her wild red mane, she's going to rescue Mara Jade from the Legends stories and make her official canon. Some hold the belief that she is both of these things. But what do the latest Star Wars 9 rumors have to say about it? Quite a lot, actually.
Star Wars 9 is in its third week of shooting under the watchful eye of director J.J. Abrams. His plan is to tie all three Star Wars trilogies and the handful of spin-offs into one big knot. This is the culmination of everything that has come before it.

FX's You're the Worst is currently one of the hottest sitcoms on TV (not to mention one of my personal favorites!). I got a chance to chat with the show's composer Adam Blau about his music writing process, some of his other projects and more. What can you tell us about your percussion expertise? How have you used that tool when scoring or arranging for films? I’ve had the chance to work on several films as a percussion arranger in a variety of styles. On scores like Mark Isham’s for The Express or Chris Beck’s for We Are Marshall, the composers wanted to use a drumline style incorporated throughout the score to evoke a collegiate/sports/marching band feel. I was brought in for those films as well as...

Just four movies into his career, Chadwick Boseman has already played a football legend (Floyd "The Franchise" Little in "The Express") and a baseball icon (Jackie Robinson in "42"). Now, he's back in the game playing a fictional outside linebacker named Vontae Mack who hopes to be the Cleveland Browns' first draft pick in Ivan Reitman's "Draft Day." That puts him on the receiving end of some highly charged conversations with Kevin Costner as Browns general manager Sonny Weaver -- although all their scenes but one are over the phone.
So Boseman's played two sports greats while acting opposite the likes of Costner and, in "42," Harrison Ford -- where do you go from there? How about playing James Brown in the upcoming "Get on Up" or the Egyptian god of wisdom, Thoth, in 2016's "Gods of Egypt"? If you need a legend -- a real one or otherwise -- it...

Not every great actor wins an Academy Award. (Rest in peace, Peter O’Toole.*) In fact, simply getting nominated for an Oscar or two might be the truer measure of excellence. There have been plenty of actors with as many Oscar statues as Paul Newman — one! — but few can hold a candle to his nine nominations, which represent a lifetime of brilliance.
But before an actor can pile up multiple nominations like Newman or O’Toole or Al Pacino, he or she needs that first nod. Sounds simple enough. Last year, four actors heard their name called for the first time,...
