Captain Price (Who also appears in Call of Duty Classic) is the grandfather of Captain John Price from the Modern Warfare trilogy.
Is the only "Call of Duty" game not to feature the German Panzer IV. In this game, the lesser Panzer II replaces it.

Call of Duty 2 became a part of the Xbox One backwards compatibility program on August 23rd, 2016. Even though this is just the Xbox 360 version running on Xbox One hardware, Call of Duty 2 sees a massive performance boost when played on Xbox One. The game utilizes a double framebuffer to where the frame rate will hard lock to 30fps if a consistent 60fps cannot be maintained, which happened often on Xbox 360. Now when played on Xbox One the game's frame rate is locked to 60fps.
