The official website of AnimeJapan 2025 revealed the line-ups for its main stages on Jan 17, 2025.

This year’s event will feature four main stages—Red, Green, Blue, and the newly introduced White stage, hosting a total of 52 programs over two days.

An overview of the stages can be viewed below:

Red Stage & Green Stage: These are closed stages with designated seating. Attendees will need both an admission ticket and a stage viewing ticket to watch programs on these stages. Blue Stage & White Stage: These are open stages. The front-row seats for viewing will be designated seating, requiring both an admission ticket and a stage viewing ticket. However, free viewing areas are available at the back, though space is limited.

It was also revealed that some stage programs will be streamed online. Further details about the streaming schedule and availability will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Japanese record company Nippon Columbia has announced that actor Hikaru Makishima 's new digital single "Phoenix" will be available on digital services on October 8, 2024. The rock tune will be featured as the ending theme for the upcoming fall 2024 TV anime Haigakura . The art was part of the magazine's fortieth anniversary, marking a big milestone with some of the publisher's greatest heroes. There were multiple pieces, being sure to share the spotlight among several different characters that fans have come to love over the last several decades.

On X, @Everything_OPM_ reshared the artwork, which was released sixteen years ago in 2008. The milestone was a big one that coincided with the five-year anniversary of the publication of Viz's Shonen Jump in America. As part of its summer AVOD lineup, the hit anime streaming service recently added 20 new titles to its already expansive collection, including the likes of Haikyu!, Blue Lock, Free! The official website for the Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction anime adaptation project, based on manga artist Inio Asano's work of the same name, released the main trailer featuring the two theme songs by the film's two leading voice cast members — Lilas Ikuta (the vocalist of the musical unit Yoasobi) as Kadode Koyama and singer ano as Oran Nakagawa. The anime will be released as a two-part theatrical film in spring 2024. The first part will open in Japanese theaters on March 22, 2024, then the second part will follow on April 19, 2024. The collaboration was announced in a teaser trailer that is available on the game's official YouTube channel. The short promotional video sees Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki and Satoru Gojo bursting through a brick wall and ready to throw down, and it confirms that the cast of Jujutsu Kaisen will be added to the game as part of version 25.30. Uploaded on Reddit, the image shows Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki wearing more laid-back attire than their usual school uniforms and recreating some of the dance moves seen in the anime's end credits. But while all the animes mentioned have enjoyed immense popularity, Haikyuu, which debuted in 2014, has joined the list as one of the most beloved sports anime series of all time and in the entire anime industry in general. Exclusive: Japanese major indie Gaga will launch sales on 3D animated feature Ryoma! The Prince Of Tennis at the upcoming Filmart in Hong Kong (March 15-18).

The movie is the first 3D computer-generated title that the company has produced and distributed in its 35-year history. Gaga entered the animation business in 2016 and has worked on titles including the Annie nominee Okko’s Inn by Kitaro Kosaka and Seven Days War by Yuta Murano, both of which screened in competition at Annecy, to date.

The Prince Of Tennis is a 20 years’ long-running comic series about middle-school tennis prodigy Ryoma developing friendship and tennis techniques through intense matches against powerhouse players. Selling over 60 million copies, the original series has developed into various media franchise such as animation TV series, musical stage, live-action film and video games.

The new animation feature is a stand–alone original story produced by the original comic author Takeshi Konomi.

A 33-second teaser trailer for the upcoming animated film The Prince of Tennis: Eikoku Shikiteikyuu-jou Kessen! has been uploaded to the Shochiku channel on Yahoo! Japan.

The new film is set at Wimbledon, where a powerhouse collection of junior players from all over the world assemble for a tournament. Japan is represented by players from the Seigaku, Hyotei, Rikkai, and Shitenhoji schools.

Fans of atmospheric Japanese murder and mystery should look no further than the upcoming release of Goth: Love of death. A live-action adaptation of the award-winning novel by popular Japanese author Otsuichi (Zoo), Goth is directed by Gen Takahashi (Confessions Of A Dog) and stars Rin Takanashi (Samurai Squadron Shinkenger) and Kanata Hongo (The Prince Of Tennis) in a disturbing tale of two teenagers with an unhealthy appetite for the macabre. The original source novel has already been adapted into a Manga by artist Kendi Oiwa and an American movie adaptation (interestingly, not a remake of Takahashi's film) is reportedly in the pipeline for 2011. Goth is release on UK R2 DVD, September 21st.

Cartoon Network is partnering with graphic publishing company VIZ Media to bring the epic battles and adventures of such anime characters as Samurai Jack and Naruto to the broadband realm. Dubbed Toonami Jetstream, the broadband service, scheduled to launch July 17, will offer on-demand full-length streaming episodes from a suite of Cartoon Network programming including the acclaimed series Naruto and the Emmy-winning Samurai Jack, created by Genndy Tartakovsky. Entire episodes from other anime shows Hikaru No Go, MAR and The Prince of Tennis, not available on U.S. broadcast or basic cable television, also will be available.
