Black & Blue

Black and Blue feels like someone wanted to collect all the tropes and cliches surrounding entertainment aimed at African American audiences into one movie without realizing how weird and confusing that it would get. The movie wanders between sitcom scenarios at a dumpy fast food restaurant, gang related crime, hokey family drama, and tons of gay, racial, and mental health stereotypes that were pretty offensive even at the time. I get that the movie is low budget and independent, but there is just nothing worth forcing yourself to sit through the hour and forty minutes for. I usually try to find something to compliment when it comes to no budget movies, but I barely managed to finish this one. Best left in the dollar store bargain bin where you are sure to find it!

Jesus H. Christ Where do i Begin????????????.....Wait i Know Don't Rent or Come in contact with this movie At all. This movie blew Hard and Long. It tries to be street like a John Singleton film but comes off as Preachy Surfer boy Version of Menance to Society. Cedric Pendelton, Rosalyn white and Cedric Moore are Three of it's ""Stars"" and by stars i mean Collasped stars aka Black holes cause all these three manage to do is suck the air out of the screen. Look if you just want a Film to laugh at for it's shear Stupidity Then Watch this Piece of Crap. i Will Say this about this Movie Some of the Women in this Movie were Fine i mean Beautiful and some of the music was Okay but that doesn't make up for bad acting, Horrible editing and A Swiss cheese plot. This Movie Broke the Law of Physics by Both Sucking and Blowing at the Same Time. It suffers from ULTimate Suckage

This film is beyond repair. It is past the point of bad that it is possible for the rating to go towards the negative number mark. You could automatically tell that the director of this film has NO experience in directing. The actors were so bad that I could not help but laugh at their talentless performance. There was not one scene that did not have a flaw in it. The movie was so bad, that there are several confusing plots throughout. The director could not decide which one to use so he decided to use all of them to make one SUPER CRAPPY, AND CONFUSING CATASTROPHE! Do yourselves a favor, do not come within a city block of this movie. It is better off collecting dust on a Blockbuster shelf. That is if Blockbuster would even display such a casualty to the word:MOVIE.

I loved this movie....I think it is one of the best independent films that has been created on such a long time...i read the other user comment and was inspired to write my own...you can not judge an Indy film on the same scale as a big budget film...however, a few of the characters in this movie played their parts really well. For example, the guy who played Calvin was amazing i thought...he has great potential to become the next Denzel or another big name actor...anyway, i recommend this film to everyone who enjoys movies: both Indy and big budget. And the girls really did look good in this film. But that does not take away from the acting and production of the film...again please check out this film and others like it...you will not be upset with your choice...
