A sequel to the Netflix cult horror film Circle is in the works
Image
In 2015, Netflix released the indie horror film Circle on its platform, and it instantly became the talk of the town due to its intriguing premise. It centers around a group of 50 strangers who awaken in a dark room to find out that they're being held captive and forced to participate in a deadly game. Faced with their imminent executions, they must choose one person among them to live.

It was written and directed by Aaron Hann and Mario Miscione and was inspired by the 1957 legal drama film 12 Angry Men. Michael Nardelli, Carter Jenkins, Lawrence Kao, Allegra Masters, Julie Benz, and many others starred in the movie.

Now, almost 10 years after its release, the horror flick has been announced to be getting a sequel. It's titled Circles, and two producers from the original film are back to make it. Those two producers are Nardelli, who also starred in Circle as sole survivor Eric,...

‘Circle’: Netflix’s 2015 Cult Horror Film Entering Production on an Indie Sequel (Exclusive)
Image
In 2015, Netflix acquired the indie horror film “Circle,” which saw 50 strangers trapped in a room and forced to decide who would be the one survivor through a series of votes and debates about the worth of each human life.

Nearly a decade later, with the “12 Angry Men”-inspired project having become something of a cult hit, two producers of the film have reunited to create a sequel, “Circles.” Per the official logline, “17 years after being pawns in a cruel game of psychological warfare, the survivors of an invasion face a new threat.”

Michael Nardelli, who starred in “Circle” as lone survivor Eric, and Brent Stiefel are re-teaming to produce the sequel. Devon Graye is writing the film, which is financed and entering production later this year.

Nardelli made is acting debut opposite Zac Efron in the 2005 indie film “The Derby Stallion.” He also produced and starred in Sam Levinson...

Paris Jackson reveals Zac Efron left her 'heartbroken'
Paris Jackson was left "heartbroken" by Zac Efron at her first concert.

The 18-year-old actress - who is the daughter of music icon Michael Jackson - was a huge 'High School Musical' fan as a child and was, therefore, devastated to learn Zac wouldn't be performing at her first-ever gig because he was working on another film project.

Paris explained: "The first concert that I actively wanted to see was 'High School Musical'."

But Paris' excitement soon turned to despair after she was informed Zac wouldn't be at the concert.

Speaking to 'Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon, she recalled: "It was the depressing part, heartbroken."

Zac, 29, actually missed the gig because he was shooting 'The Derby Stallion', which was released in 2005.

Meanwhile, Naomi Campbell said earlier this month that she thinks Paris will make an "incredible actress".

Paris recently scored her first...

Like most kids, Paris Jackson was a big High School Musical fan.

The daughter of Michael Jackson revealed to Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon that she was “heartbroken” when she went to her first concert.

“The first concert that I actively wanted to see was High School Musical Live,” Paris, 18, shared on Monday’s episode.

But the HSM event wasn’t as great as she thought it would be, all because the Disney Channel movie’s leading man, Zac Efron, was absent from the concert due to another film project.

Zac Efron at an event for En pleine nature avec Bear Grylls (2014)
It's pretty hard to get that image out of our heads, you know, the one of a gorgeous Zac Efron riding a horse in Italy earlier this week.
