Confidential Informant opens with a voiceover telling us what wonderful people cops are, especially those with combat experience. Case in point Tom Moran and Mike Thorton. We get to see them raid a crack operation and then lie to their superior over little things like not having a search warrant. Wonderful people indeed.

He’s seen a doctor, three of them in fact, and they all tell him he has stomach cancer and not too long to live. National Geographic’s Sharkfest is coming back on July 2nd, and one of the event’s key programs is Return of the White Shark. Each year, National Geographic devotes days of programming to the feared and often misunderstood underwater animals, featuring exciting rare footage and fascinating information from leading experts. Few animals on Earth have captivated the public imagination in the way that sharks have, and National Geographic’s yearly event is as sure to entertain as it is likely to educate. This year, Sharkfest programming even joins other National Geographic specials on Disney+, making the event more accessible than ever.
Return of the White Shark looks to be yet another great shark documentary, and dives into a phenomenon bound to be a topic of conversation among New Englanders and beachgoers: the reemergence of great white sharks in the Cape Cod region. In Season 5 of FX and Hulu’s “What We Do In The Shadows,” Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) looks for a vampire who can give him the transformation that Nandor the Relentless has kept from him. But it may not go as planned. The beloved comedy, which takes a mockumentary look at four vampires living in Staten Island, returns on July 14.
Check out the Season 5 trailer of “What We Do In the Shadows”:
Another highly anticipated return coming to Hulu in July is the latest season of long-running animated series “Futurama.” The show’s first four seasons aired on Fox from 1999 to 2003, it was then picked up by Comedy Central for three seasons from 2008 to 2013. Now, nearly a decade later, the Mike Judge-created series will return for the first half of the 20-episode Season 8 on July 24 with the original voice cast.
