First off...Of the two guys setting things up and doing the therft only one is a former their. I think the other has been in the security business long enough to be considered a expert. As for the actual burgerlies....This guys skill and sophistication in the craft is much higher than most B&E guys. Skills like his would likely be used on far more profitable scores than most residential scores would bring. Most B&E's are guys looking for soft targets. They break in and grab as much as they can very quickly. However; The show would have become very boring really fast if they did them as local junkies and/or teens often do them. Instead we watch how he cases the places to note their routines. We see in some cases how he manages to get pat a dog or even dogs. All is caught on cameras that have been set up for a week or two.. The home owners who see just how easy it was for him to win over their dogs were absolutely shocked. Frankly I don't know why...They after all spent a lot of time teaching their dogs to accept people they accept....So a guy with treats like steak...Must be very acceptable....I really like this show a lot.
