Recent reports suggest that the test shoot was halted due to a conflict between the actor Sivakarthikeyan and the director. The disagreement reportedly arose when Sudha Kongara asked Sivakarthikeyan to trim his beard for the shoot. This surprised the actor, who was earlier instructed to maintain the same look.

The director later explained that his beard resembled the style worn by actor Karthi in the movie Paruthiveeran. This comparison reportedly upset Sivakarthikeyan, who walked off the set without responding. Also, the actor is said to have stopped communicating with the director.

These are speculative reports, and no official confirmation has been made about the issue. Fans are hopeful that the differences will be resolved soon. Interestingly, there were earlier rumors about actors Jayam Ravi and Vishal competing for the antagonist role in SK25. This remains unconfirmed, as the movie has yet to be officially announced.

The much-awaited film of Superstar Rajinikanth, tentatively titled Thalaivar 170, has been creating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced. Indian star Karthik Sivakumar, known by his screen name Karthi, is bullish about upcoming release “Japan,” his 25th film.

The film is due to release in November during the Deepavali holiday frame in Tamil, Telugu and a few other languages. “It’s a crime thriller, it’s got a manhunt to it. But apart from that, the writing and characters in the film are so well-rooted, and at the same time, it’s got a lot of flamboyance – it’s a very unique combination,” Karthi told Variety.

Director Ameer, who made the National Award winning Tamil film ‘Paruthiveeran’, is to organise a World Fitness Federation (Wff), a national level body building and fitness competition on September 17 and 18 at Madurai Kln Engineering College.

The competition is to create awareness about the ill-effects of drugs and the importance of maintaining good health.

Mumbai, Feb 11: National Award-winning southern actress Priyamani has worked in Hindi films earlier but in Rohit Shetty's "Chennai Express" she is doing her first ever item number. The actress can't wait to shoot for it as it would allow her to meet Bollywood superstar and the film's lead actor Shah Rukh Khan.

"I am very excited. I am just waiting for the shoot to happen so that I get to meet Shah Rukh Khan and to shoot with him," Priyamani told Ians.

The actress, who won the National Award for 2006 Tamil film "Paruthi Veeran", is doing an item song for the first time and said: "I have never done an item number. It is the first.

Having completed her shooting stint for Raavana with Aishwarya Rai and Abshishek Bachchan, Priyamani is currently camped out in Mumbai, possibly hoping that more Bollywood offers may come her way.
