From period-piece grifter to a Charlie's Angel, Cameron Diaz has taken on an interesting mix of roles. But in this week's "The Counselor," she's a whole different breed -- almost literally.
In Ridley Scott's new crime thriller, Diaz plays Malkina, a cheetah print-loving, tattooed vixen. With a gold tooth, a Skrillex-esque haircut, and a whole lot of bling, Diaz is nearly unrecognizable.
Sure, you know she's been known to substitute body fluids for hair gel, and she plays an obsessive ex-girlfriend with aplomb, but there's likely a lot about Diaz you don't know. From her legally questionable activities with Snoop Dogg to her MTV reality show, here are 15 things you may not know about the blond bombshell.
1. Diaz was a member of the Polyettes dance-drill team at her high school. We can totally imagine Diaz cheering in half-time shows, "Bring It On"-style.
2. Before hitting the big time, Diaz...

The Game's anticipated The Red Room mixtape comes out on Monday (April 26). Though it was originally slated to be a special Gangsta Grillz edition mixtape with DJ Drama, Game made an 11th-hour switch and went back to his playa potna DJ Skee, who has been a part of several Game mixtapes over the years.
Skee contributed production to the mixtape as well, making a "Skeemix" of the Compton native's controversial "400 Bars." Travis Barker lends his drums to a remix of the Cool and Dre-produced "Shake."
Game has no shortage of fire power elsewhere in the mixtape. Diddy appears on "Heartbreak Hotel," and Nipsey Hussle raps on the freestyle "Ha Ha," which uses Fat Joe's "Slow Down" beat. Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, The Birdman, Jim Jones,...

Diaz Close To Settlement with Tabloid
Cameron Diaz is reportedly close to agreeing a settlement in her $30 million lawsuit against an American magazine that accused her of cheating on Justin Timberlake. The National Enquirer last year claimed Diaz was having an affair with Shane Nickerson, the married producer of her MTV show Trippin'. It printed pictures of the pair leave a recording studio and hugging. Diaz immediately sued for slander and libel, accusing the tabloid of turning "an innocent, insignificant and non-memorable occurrence involving two co-workers and friends (into) a sensationalistic, scandalous and accusatory story which was completely false." Nickerson's wife and mother-in-law joined Diaz as co-plaintiffs alleging Enquirer reporters caused them emotional distress. According to court documents revealed by E! Online the parties are close to settlement. A summary of proceedings reads, "Counsel report that settlement discussions have been productive and that parties are close to a settlement."...

Cameron Diaz Sues The Enquirer
Cameron Diaz has followed up her threats to sue US tabloid National Enquirer, over an article alleging she was cheating on boyfriend Justin Timberlake, by slamming publishers with a $30 million claim for damages. Attorneys for both Diaz and TV producer Shane Nickerson have filed a joint lawsuit, according to Los Angeles Superior Court documents obtained by US news show Celebrity Justice, which could leave Enquirer bosses with a hefty $60 million bill. The pair, who worked together on MTV travel show Trippin' and claim they were slandered in the front-page May article, accuse the Enquirer of libel and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional stress. The suit seeks at least $60 million in damages - $30 million apiece for Diaz and Nickerson. According to the court documents, the suit claims the published story has not only damaged both of their reputations, but also placed needless strains on their personal relationships. The tabloid ran 25 photos of Diaz and Nickerson - some of which depicted the two hugging - and featured captions insinuating the pair were an item. The piece further accused Diaz and Nickerson of adultery - Nickerson is married. In a statement from Diaz's representatives, released after the article ran, they fumed, "This is a case of a tabloid colluding with the stalkerazzi in an attempt to distort the truth and mislead the public." Diaz's attorneys are expected to file a second lawsuit against British tabloid The Sun, who published the same photos with a similar article.

Diaz Turns Her Attention to The Enquirer
Cameron Diaz is on the warpath over reports she's having an affair with a married TV producer - after announcing plans to sue British newspaper The Sun, she's now going after US magazine the National Enquirer. The Sun broke the story about the actress' alleged romance with Shane McKesson, who produces her MTV travel show Trippin', and offered photos of the two together. But hurt Diaz insists the story is nonsense and earlier this month declared she was going to sue the editors responsible. Diaz's lawyers stated The Sun's front page article falsely alleged that she had embarked upon "a secret affair with a married man". The legal eagles at Schillings then confirmed that the actress had instructed them to "issue and serve libel proceedings against the publishers of The Sun newspaper." A spokesman for The Sun has confirmed that the publishers have received a letter of claim from Diaz's lawyers, ordering the newspaper to cease and desist in its publication of a story and photos alleging Diaz was kissing a colleague from her show. He insists The Sun has not received notice that an actual lawsuit has been filed. Meanwhile, bosses at the National Enquirer, which ran the same story, have confirmed they got the same cease and desist letter from Diaz's attorneys.

Diaz Sues Newspaper Over Affair Reports
Hollywood beauty Cameron Diaz is suing Britain's The Sun newspaper after they claimed she was having an affair with her married travel show producer. The Sun reported Thursday Diaz and Shane Nickerson - who produces her MTV show Trippin' - were spotted in a romantic clinch outside a Santa Monica, California studio. Diaz has been in a two-year relationship with singer Justin Timberlake, while Nickerson and his wife Elisa have a baby daughter Lucy. Diaz's lawyers at Schillings said the paper's front page was "falsely alleging that she had embarked upon a secret affair with a married man". A statement from the actress says, "Cameron Diaz has today instructed her solicitors Schillings to issue and serve libel proceedings against the publishers of The Sun newspaper." Diaz Vs The Sun is expected to go to trial in London in October. Meanwhile, Timberlake is suing Sunday tabloid News Of The World - who shares the same parent company News International with The Sun - in an unconnected case. In 2004, the NOTW published an interview with model Lucy Clarkson, who claimed she had sexual intercourse with Timberlake on two occasions, while he was dating Diaz.

Diaz Slams Producer Romance Reports
Cameron Diaz has slammed reports she is cheating on long-term lover Justin Timberlake with her travel show producer Shane Nickerson. Witness Oscar Duran told a US magazine he saw Diaz French-kissing Nickerson - who produces the actress' MTV show Trippin' - outside a Santa Monica, California studio last Wednesday. Duran says, "Cameron wrapped her arms around the guy and started kissing him on the mouth. They stood kissing for a good three minutes." Diaz, 32, and Timberlake, 24, will celebrate their two-year anniversary this month, while Nickerson has a one-year-old daughter Lucy with his wife Elisa. British newspaper The Sun reports that, when asked for comment about the alleged smooch, Nickerson replied, "Oh no, I can't talk to you. You'll have to talk to MTV." However the Charlie's Angels beauty's publicist Brad Cafarelli insists, "Shane Nickerson is a friend of Cameron's and a valued associate who works with her on her MTV show. They do not have any sort of romantic relationship whatsoever."...
