Morir a mi manera

Fun Mexploitation.

"Morir A Mi Manera" it's a fun and cheesy Mexploitation film starring the great Mario Almada, he's the best part in the film, the film it's directed by actor and director Sergio Goyri, who does a decent job in the direction aspect.

The film it's sleazy and shows no mercy when it comes to killing characters like innocent children or parents in grief, it's crude and realistic at times, but some of that gets lost when the movie uses the cliché action scenes or some tropes from a million other action movies, there is nothing new that this movie could offer, except for maybe a few crude and gritty terrorist massacres.

The acting it's decent, a bit clunky at times but better than other movies from the genre, the best actor in the film it's Mario Almada, who is always great in these kind of roles, he plays the same character in almost any movie he's in, a man who has seen everything and is pushed too far, so now he must restore peace and save the day, classic.

The violence it's the best part, the action scenes are very fun and they are many of them in this film, you just can't wait until Mario shoots someone in the head and blows their brains out, very riveting.

The film has some awkward moments, like some clunky acting scenes, but very few, or some gratuitous banda dance scenes, that may drag for too long.

Overall, I would recommend the film for those who are looking for a Mexican narco film that doesn't take itself too seriously, it's fun and cheesy but it does that pretty well.
