Mumbai, Oct 4: Actor Mithun Chakraborty is all set to make an appearance in the seventh season "Bigg Boss" and entertain the audience along with the show's host Salman Khan.

Mithun, who had hosted "Bigg Boss Bangla", will come with Akshay Kumar to promote their film "Boss". This will be Akshay's second stint on the show after his appearance on the premiere night of the show on Sep 15.

"Bigg Boss - Saath 7" airs on Colors and currently VJ Andy, Gauhar Khan, Kushal Tandon, Apoorva Agnihotri and his wife Shilpa, Tanisha Mukherje, Anita Advani, Armaan Kohli, Asif Azim, Sangram Singh, Elli Avram, Ratan Rajput, Kamya Punjabi and Pratyusha Banerjee are competing with each other to emerge victorious.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to thrill audiences with his portrayal of a Haryanvi gangster with a heart-warming edge, in his new action-entertainer ‘Boss’, directed by Tony D’Souza. ‘Boss’ is produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films and Ashwin Varde Productions, and releases internationally on 16th October 2013 through Krian Media and in the UK through Tip Top Entertainment.

Akshay Kumar dons the role of ‘Boss’ and veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty will enact the role of his weary father. Debutant star Shiv Pandit portrays Boss’s younger brother and the scintillating Aditi Rao Hydari plays Shiv’s love interest. The film also sees yesteryear actor Danny Denzongpa perform the role of Boss’s mentor while Ronit Roy plays a ruthless police officer who is pitted against ‘Boss’. Comedic hero Johnny Lever adds to the entertainment quotient in the film along with actor Parikshit Sahni.

Mumbai, Sep 17: Actor Akshay Kumar says his forthcoming film "Boss" highlights the "underplayed relationship" between a father and son.

In the film, Akshay will be seen as gangster from Haryana, while actor Mithun Chakraborty will be seen as his father.

"I am playing Haryanavi (character in "Boss"). I think so far no actor has played a Haryanavi character (on screen). I enjoyed myself," Akshay said.

"It is about a beautiful relationship between a father and son, a very underplayed relationship," he added.

Akshay was present on the sets of the dance reality show "Did Dance Ka Tashan". Mithun, who will judge.

New Delhi, Sep 7: Bollywood actor-producer Akshay Kumar will launch the "Party all night" song from his forthcoming film "Boss" at the finale of the dance reality show "Dance India Dance Super Moms" Sunday.

He stars in this comedy film along with Asin, Mithun Chakraborty and Himesh Reshammiya, the latter having also composed its official soundtrack. To celebrate the release of Khiladi 786, Akshay shared his thoughts on the film and his experiences as the leading man in it in this cool Q&A.

When asked how it feels to be returning in another Khiladi film after such a long time (the last one being Khiladi 420, 2000) Akshay had this to say.
