All of Sam's shows are worth watching more than once.

I'm not sure what you consider a "spoiler," but you can be sure nothing I say will be derogatory toward Sam or the show. Samantha Brown is one of my favorite personalities on TV. I don't watch much "network" television because of objectionable content. It is quite refreshing to find a show that is educational and entertaining, and whose host gives one's heart a lift by their wholesomeness. Turning to ANY of Sam's shows insures me a good time and a fun trip to many places. I love to watch her episodes over and over, and I hope that her contract will be renewed again and again, as well as having new shows created for and by her. I noted that she does some of the writing, and that makes the shows even more enjoyable. I'm happy to learn that Sam is now married. Please be sure she knows I'm wishing her and her husband a long and happy life together. God bless.

    Thoroughly engaging and informative.

I LOVE this program! Samantha Brown is a great hostess and does a thorough and witty job of presenting each city and/or country. Her narratives are so intriguing that it makes me want to travel to those places and her humor is engaging. I especially love her conversations with the people living or working in the area. She engages them very well and her sense of humor adds real wit to the conversations. And she has a fantastic way of describing the hotels/inns of the areas. I get a real sense of what it would be like to stay there. And kudos to the scenic camera work. It captures all of the beauty in the sites and countryside. I look forward to all of the episodes and hope that there are many more.

A whole new perspective of the European continent.

Whenever we always think of Europe, we often think of grand castles, interesting history, the royalty, a centre for the arts, a shopping district (especially when Paris and Milan come to mind)...and a continent very different to the outside world.

As each continent is already unique on its own, so what is special about Europe that distinguishes itself from the rest? Make this into a half-hour show and it will show you what it has to offer. Showing it through the eyes of hostess Samantha Brown, it's what an American sees through her own eyes on this very interesting continent.

Okay...initially when this show first aired here on cable last year, I was actually a little apprehensive at first because given this is from an American's perspective of the continent and maybe some can understand how not many really like the Americans given the overall impression they get of them on their news. But as long as opening the hearts and minds, it will eventually warm up the atmosphere. It's also the same on the show too and I began to like the show's format.

Other than the usual London, Rome, Madrid and so on, it even also featured other European cities where the outside world often do not know about. I often get interesting and fun facts at times like to the extent of how the Dutch are just very liberal in so many things which may even consider taboo anywhere else. Definitely really an eye-opener for me.

When the series got its premiere here on the cable, it was being shown at consistent timings on a weekly basis but then along the way, the timing changed somehow. Making me wondering when it's the next episode airing as a result and missing some episodes along the way too. But other than that, I always try to watch it wherever I can as it's still going on here.

For those of us who often dream of travelling especially to the European continent, this show is a fast and quick guide to the very basic on what Europe has to offer in its various cities. Some are famous to the world, some are just waiting to be explored. It's just a matter of opening the mind and just trying to accept whatever it may deemed kind of different to you.

Definitely a very different perspective of the continent indeed.
