Tinto Brass met her while she was a waitress in a pizzeria and invited her to audition. Mayarchuk remembers that on the day of her audition, there were many other applicants, including some prostitutes. Finding herself alone with the director, he asked her to take off her shirt and bra. She didn't hesitate because she was never shy about her body and really wanted the part. Brass asked if her breasts were fake. He seemed impressed when she said they were real. Next, he asked her to strip totally naked and spin around slowly. Brass told her she had a very nice butt. He asked her several questions for the next 15 minutes as she stood there nude. He told her later he does that with all auditioning actresses to make sure they can handle being naked for hours while making the film. Brass finally chose her to star in this short and for his next feature film. Carla (2000), which required much more nudity.
