James Houghton, known for his role as Kenny Ward on Knots Landing and his work as a writer for The Young and the Restless, died on August 27 at his home in Encino, California. His wife, Karen Houghton, confirmed that he had been battling peritoneal mesothelioma. He was 75.

Quick Links What is They Came Together About? They Came Together Has Countless Cameos Fans Were Wrong About They Came Together

With Saturday Night Live's 50th season well underway, many fans are revisiting movies, TV shows, and digital content made by SNL cast members and alums. The talent ranges from Will Ferrell to Adam Sandler to Eddie Murphy all the way to the oft-forgotten Academy Award-winning Robert Downey Jr., but the less famous cast members often still go on to have amazing careers. Whether they go on to star in sitcoms, Broadway shows, or films,...

Bart is paired with a charming, caring man named Tom (Phil Hartman), an ultra-cool test pilot. Tom is gentle and attentive, and Bart enjoys the time they spend together. Bart eventually starts to feel guilty, though, when he realizes Tom's time could be spent caring for a more disadvantaged child than he.

As one might be able to intuit from watching the episode, Tom was meant to be played by a visiting celebrity, and Hartman, ever the professional,...

Angela, who started the summer as the first Head Of Household, has been accused of being a producer plant throughout the summer due to her overdramatic behavior, extreme reactions, and larger-than-life emotional responses.

I Think Big Brother 26s AI Twists Are Re-Invigorating The Game
Image
Big Brother 26's AI twists are reviving the game, adding excitement and strategic depth. New powers like America's Veto and Deep-Fake Hoh bring fresh dynamics to the competition. AI Arena twists create suspense by keeping nominations uncertain until moments before eviction.

Big Brother 26 has some incredible twists that align with the AI theme of the game, and I think theyre re-invigorating the game of Big Brother as we know it. Throughout the run of Big Brother, which is one of the longest-running reality TV competition series on the air, there have been numerous themes that have helped to breathe life back into the game when its gotten stale. Though the last several seasons of Big Brother have tried to take big swings and fallen incredibly flat at times, theres always something that keeps viewers coming back to the exciting game.

After years of seeing a standard set of nominees, twists...

Big Brother Changes Live Feeds, Fans Outraged
Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
Big Brother is back in full swing. However, fans aren’t happy with the changes made to the live feeds. The live feeds are a critical element of the game show since it shows fans what happens behind the scenes. Keep on reading to learn more.

Big Brother Makes Changes To Live Feed

Big Brother 26 returned on Monday, July 15. CBS announced the cast for the upcoming season. Sixteen houseguests will compete against each other for the $750,000 grand prize.

The game will play out for the next 90 days, ending on October 13. This is down from last summer, which ran for 100 days. Other changes have been made to the long-running series.

The Big Brother live feeds are a huge component of the show. The feeds allow viewers to see what happens in the big house day and night, in between episodes.

I Think Big Brother 26's Rumored AI Theme Includes Bb Legends
Image
Big Brother 26's potential AI theme could bring a futuristic twist to the game with AI guiding houseguests' decisions. Seasonal themes in Big Brother often turn into twists affecting competitions, adding drama and changing gameplay dynamics. The AI theme could involve Bb legends offering advice to houseguests or even having AI make decisions for one player.

Big Brother 26 is just weeks away, and after the show shared some promotional material alluding to its new theme, I have a few predictions about how the potential AI theme will roll out this season. Big Brother has always been a summer-long power struggle for the houseguests who play the game, pitting them against one another while they compete for a prize of $750,000 that could change their life entirely. While the houseguests compete for power, luxuries, and food, there are social dynamics at play all throughout the game that could change everything at the drop of a hat.

Elizabeth Banks was born on February 10, 1974, in Pittsfield, a small city in western Massachusetts. Her parents, Ann Wallace, a bank employee, and Mark P. Mitchell, a factory worker, have played significant roles in her life.

Her childhood was filled with horses, athletics, and even a nomination for the local Harvest Queen. While playing baseball as a child, Elizabeth broke her leg sliding into third base and was prevented from playing sports for a while.

I'm Worried About The Traitors Season 3 Cast (Will They Be Able To Play The Game?)
Image
Reality TV gamers clash with other stars in The Traitors, causing personal tensions and strategic challenges in the game. Season 3's controversial cast includes powerhouses like Survivor's Boston Rob and Big Brother's Britney Haynes facing early threats. While mixed-bag casting adds drama, focusing on reality TV gamers in The Traitors could enhance strategic gameplay and cohesion in future seasons.

The Traitors season 3 cast has been announced, and while some of the usual tactics were utilized in casting reality TV gamers, Im worried about the way the cast will handle the pressures of the game. Throughout The Traitors season 2, which was the first of the franchise to employ an entirely reality TV and entertainer based model for its cast, there was friction between the reality TV competition series veterans and the stars who appear on unstructured reality TV shows, like the Real Housewives franchise. The divide ultimately dissipated, but...

Image
The Traitors season 3 will feature a diverse cast of reality TV stars, including some surprising villains and heroes. With a mix of reality TV gamers, entertainers, and former athletes, The Traitors season 3 promises exciting competition. Tom Sandoval's inclusion in the cast may stir up drama, along with other notable reality TV stars like Bob the Drag Queen.

The Traitors season 3s cast has been revealed, and the all-star cast includes an array of reality TV royalty, including one shocking villain thats stunned viewers. The Traitors season 1 was a combination of reality TV stars and civilians, but the second season brought together some incredibly elite reality TV stars. Mixing reality TV gamers, unstructured stars, & other entertainers, The Traitors season 2 was an interesting look at how reality TV stars functioned outside their own series and in a mafia-style game of Traitors, and Faithfuls. With a whole new cast, The Traitors season 3 is set to be exciting.

Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms in Very Bad Trip (2009)
Post your questions for Ken Jeong
Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms in Very Bad Trip (2009)
The doctor-turned-comedian has starred in films from The Hangover to Crazy Rich Asians, been a judge on The Masked Singer and still assists with the odd medical emergency. What would you like to ask him?

It seems every country needs a medical doctor-turned-comedian. The UK has Harry Hill, Monty Python’s Graham Chapman and the Goodies’ Graeme Garden. The US has Ken Jeong MD, who practiced as a physician of internal medicine in Los Angeles while trying to get his stand-up and improv career off the ground. (He maintains his medical licence and has assisted with medical emergencies since. He’s got some good stories on this!)

Jeong got his big break in Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up, and then went to on play a flamboyant gangster in The Hangover and two sequels. He’s since starred opposite Paul Rudd in Role Models, Brendan Fraser in Furry Vengeance and was in Crazy Rich Asians.

Netflix’s New Releases Coming in April 2024
Image
A car crash interview with a delusional prince, a new series adaptation featuring Patricia Highsmith’s most infamous creation, the second part of Zack Snyder’s pricey space opera and a paranormal detective show set within Neil Gaiman’s celebrated Sandman universe are among the big titles hitting Netflix in April.

Debuting April 4 is Ripley, Netflix’s glossy new take on Highsmith’s 1955 crime novel The Talented Mr. Ripley. Fresh from the critical acclaim he received for All of Us Strangers, Irish actor Andrew Scott will be inhabiting the role of Tom Ripley in an adaptation that will be screened in black-and-white. The eight-episode series also stars Johnny Flynn as Dickie Greenleaf, Dakota Fanning as Marge Sherwood, and acting newcomer Eliot Sumner (son of Sting and Trudie Styler) as Freddie Miles. Written and directed by Oscar winner Steven Zaillian, Ripley was originally set for release on Showtime before it found a new home on Netflix.

Amazon Prime Video New Releases: January 2024
Image
Zorro and Expats are the big shows coming to Prime Video in January. The former is what Amazon are calling a “bold reinterpretation” of the classic hero El Zorro for 2024. Starring Miguel Bernardeau as Diego de la Vega and Renata Notni as Lolita Marquez, it’s definitely an intriguing-sounding action-adventure series, with a ten-episode first season based on the iconic character originally created by Johnston McCulley all the way back in 1919.

Meanwhile, upcoming drama series Expats is based on the bestselling 2016 novel The Expatriates by Janice Y. K. Lee, and follows “the vibrant lives of a close-knit expatriate community” in Hong Kong. Nicole Kidman has been known for picking the right kind of shows to lead in the past, so let’s hope this is another banger for the actress, who is also on board as an executive producer here.

Here’s everything coming to Amazon Prime Video and Freevee this month.

A New Year means lots of removals from Netflix and January 1st is looking busy, with over 100 movies set to leave the service already. Below, we’ll be keeping track of all the Netflix departures for the first month of 2024.

First, a few housekeeping notes as to how Netflix removals work before we dive in. Due to licensing agreements, shows and movies added to Netflix aren’t added forever. Instead, they’re essentially rented for a fixed period. All the shows below have their current window on Netflix ending and will likely be bound for a rival streaming service.

We list titles slightly differently from other outlets, with our listings being the actual day of removal. If you want to watch any titles scheduled to expire on January 1st, for example, you’ll need to watch by the end of December 31st.

Ken Jeong Daytime Talk Show in Development
Ken Jeong
Actor and comedian Ken Jeong, who is currently a judge on Fox’s “The Masked Singer,” is developing a talk show with an eye toward a 2024 launch, according to media reports on Friday.

He taped a test show in New York on Friday, Deadline reported. That’s not a SAG strike violation as talk show hosts are under a different contract and no longer a WGA red flag — as it was for Drew Barrymore and Bill Maher — as writers have gone back to work after successfully negotiating a new contract with the AMPTP.

Jim Biederman of “The Kids in the Hall” will serve as showrunner, writer and director. He’ll also executive produce alongside Jeong for Debmar-Mercury, the company behind “The Wendy Williams Show” and “The Nick Cannon Show.”

Prior to joining “The Masked Singer,” Jeong starred in the ABC sitcom “Dr. Ken.” He also played Ben Chang on NBC...
