- Matt Stifler wants to be just like his big bro, making porn movies and having a good time in college. After sabotaging the school band, he gets sent to band camp where he really doesn't like it at first but then learns how to deal with the bandeez.
- Matt Stifler, the younger brother of the legendary Steve Stifler, who made it big as Hollywood porn-producer and shamelessly ignores the idolizing kid brother, may claim the title of Stifmeister as his heritage, but even for his horniest mates he's little more then a bad joke. When Matt alone gets caught red-handed for a prank with the school band's instruments, present high school counselor Sherman 'Sherminator' finds great pleasure in taking revenge on him for the misbehavior Steve excelled even worse in, so instead of expelling the little prick, he condemns him to take part in band camp at Great Oaks, where Jim Levenstein's still understanding dad is filling in for the feared problem counselor. As there are plenty of girls in the competing bands, Matt hopes to turn his (mis)fortune around by smuggling in camera equipment including a robot to shoot saucy, clandestine material for his counterpart to Steve's hit video "Girls Gone Wild", an at least as 'revealing' Bandies Gone Wild. Matt's nerdy, yet also horny roomie Ernie was originally confined to the closet, but is promoted to assistant-producer when he proves himself an invaluable technician. Things get complicated as Matt becomes romantically involved with Elyse, his own school band's director, whose ambition is to beat haughty five-fold winner Brandon Vandecamp -son of a famous, rich father- as band music composer and thus win a good shot at a scholarship for an exclusive music school. For her sake Matt turns musician (on the trivial triangle by her decree, bagpipes in surprising scenes) and proves his leadership skills, but courting a 'decent' girl just doesn't square with voyeurism...—KGF Vissers
- This loosely related sequel focuses on Steve Stifler's younger brother Matt Stifler, who is sent to band camp for the summer to avoid expulsion from high school by the counselor, Sherminator. Matt attempts to wire the camp with hidden cameras to turn it into the set for his own "Girls Gone Wild"-type video, but when he falls for his school band's director Elyse, his efforts to stifle his Stiffmeister ways will surely meet with hilarious results.—Anonymous
- The original American Pie characters have moved on, except for Sherman and Jim Levenstein's still understanding dad. Steve Stifler's little brother Matt wants to join his brother's business (the original Stifmeister has hit it big producing Girls Gone Wild videos) and after everything Matt has heard from Jim's band-geek wife Michelle, he plans to go back to band camp and make a video of his own: Bandies Gone Wild!—Cinescape
- Matthew "Matt" Stifler (Tad Hilgenbrinck) is eager to enter the family business of making pornographic films, so he can prove to his older brother Steve that he is "up to the standards of the Stifmeister." Matt's friends tease him that Steve is a filmmaking genius with a huge collection of pornographic films. Steve has been ignoring Matt despite his numerous messages.
It is the high school graduation party at the East Great Falls School and the school band, led by Elyse (Arielle Kebbel), is scheduled to perform. Elyse and her crew had worked very hard to prepare for the graduation ceremony performance. Matt is invited by senior Arianna (Lauren Mayhew) to the after party at the beach, and asks him to bring a sleeping bag, indicating that he might get lucky.
Stifler sprays pepper on the mouthpieces of the band's instruments. Matt also steals a piccolo from a bag, which he mistakes for being a double-headed dildo. Matt slips on his way out, and is seen by Elyse, just as she brings her team in for the performance. Matt stows the can of pepper spray in his front pocket, which subsequently leaks onto his genitals. The band performance is a disaster and Elyse is heartbroken.
During the following commotion, one of the students trips and pulls down the back curtain, which reveals Matt, who is washing his pepper-spray-soaked genitals in a drinking fountain, in front of the whole school. Elyse demands that Stifler be punished for ruining their performance, stating that he always gets away with his pranks because he is the school's star football player.
The school's guidance counselor Chuck Sherman (Chris Owen) ("The Sherminator") tells Stifler to attend band camp in the hopes that he would make friends with the "Bandees" and not follow in the footsteps of his much-hated brother. Chuck warns Matt that if he does not comply, he will be expelled from school, which means no football, no parties, no spring break and no graduation / college.
Matt takes inspiration from Jim, who married a band camp girl Michelle. Matt had heard from Steve that all people do at Band Camp is have sex 24*7. Matt intends to use the opportunity to film band camp girls for his video project. Matt aims to film dorky band camp members doing weird sex things and recording the same on hidden cameras all over camp. Matt orders a ton of spy equipment to accomplish his goals.
Elyse is also attending Band camp at the Tall Oaks, as each year one student composer is awarded the prestigious Robards Scholarship. Dr Susan Choi (Lily Mariye), President of Robards will judge the compositions herself. The schools attending are Lloyd Memorial High, Mount St. Marie, East Great Falls High, and 5 times defending champions Beechwood Academy.
At first, Matt is very disrespectful to the rules. He refuses to wear the beanie that every rookie has to wear as it is mandatory. In the process, he is reprimanded by Brandon, the President of the Tall Oaks council and a band member from the Beechwood Academy. When Matt retaliates, he is sent to meet the camp MACRO. Noah Levenstein / Jim's father (Eugene Levy), camp MACRO / Morale and Conflict Resolution Officer is filling in for Michelle as she is now pregnant. Noah recommends to Matt that he try to fit in for the band's trust.
Matt wastes no time in going after the camp's good-looking councilors. But Steve's reputation precedes at band camp and Matt gets no attention from them.
Elyse tries to humiliate Matt by engaging him in strip poker over a quiz game based on sheet music. Matt flunks and is caught running naked by Nurse Sanders (Ginger Lynn), and they again end up in Noah's office, fighting it out. Noah tells them to work together.
Elyse really wants to beat their rival band Beechwood, and this year is her last chance. Matt's discipline issues are costing scoring points for the Great Falls school. Brandon penalizes the school 2 points as Matt refuses to wear the beanie and the Tall Oaks standard issue T-shirt. Matt then shoves the beanie down his points and costs his team 5 points. The students are angry and glue the rookie beanie, which Matt should wear as per the rules, to his head.
Meanwhile, Matt installs a camera in the girl's shower, but it fogs up due to steam and Matt cannot get a good recording. A phone call from a friend, who says that earning their trust will get him better footage for his video, inspires Matt. Matt also finds out that his dorky roommate Ernie (Jason Earles) has an extensive knowledge of spy cameras and technology. Ernie wants to apply for MIT in the fall and plans to go to work for NASA. Matt agrees to let him help with the filming, making his first friend at Tall Oaks in exchange for helping him score with Chloe (Crystle Lightning). They install cameras in the girl's bathrooms and dorms. Ernie tries to woo Chloe by sending her gifts via his robot and Chloe secretly likes him
Matt gets into a big confrontation with their rival band leader, Brandon (Matt Barr), and accepts a duel challenge made by him, having no idea what a duel is. A duel is the two performers showing off their music skills. Brandon plays the snare drum, and Matt plays the triangle. Brandon wipes the floor with Matt, but Matt comes back playing the bagpipes to the tune of Play That Funky Music showing that he is actually a decent player, surprising everyone, including Elyse. Matt wins the 5 points back from Brandon
As Matt is still recording the various happenings at the camp, he gradually becomes friends with some of the band members from his school. Matt starts falling for Elyse, who is revealed to have been a friend of Matt's in 8th grade but had a falling out after Matt started hanging around with Steve and his friends and acting like The Stifmeister.
Matt then mixes alcohol in the slushy machine for the bonfire party. He films his friend Oscar (Omar Benson Miller) having sex with camp counselor Sheree (Angela Little). Matt applies valve oil on his penis and tries have sex with an oboe, but the penis has an allergic reaction and swells, getting stuck inside the oboe. Ernie has sex with Chloe, and it gets recorded in his rover camera. Matt starts liking Elyse and wants his team to win the competition. He actively helps Elyse with her composition and with the band parade practice. Eventually, they kiss.
A day before the finals, the cheer-leading squad of East Great Falls arrives and catches Matt in a band camp uniform. The cheerleaders were at band camp to add dazzle to the band performance. They tease him, taking a photo and plan to share it on the internet. Matt later offers a deal of showing them his film 'Bandeez Gone Wild' in exchange for deleting the photo. Matt is eventually caught with his movies, when he was showing them to his high school cheerleaders to prove that he is not a dork. While Matt is showing them his video, Elyse turns up after he had unintentionally stood her up. Disappointed with him for making the video, she leaves.
Now, Matt's once-friends at camp want nothing more to do with him. After another talk with Jim's Dad, Matt comes to realize that his brother is not as great or cool as he once thought and that following in his footsteps is not a good idea, so he deletes all the videos he recorded at band camp.
It's the day of the final band performances. Matt wants his team to win and mixes laxative in the Beechwood camper (which has grape juice). East Falls had a camper with orange juice. But Oscar comes by and switches the campers as he doesn't like Orange and wants grape juice. The whole band is affected, and the performance is a disaster.
Once the new term starts, Matt visits Chuck, who reveals that he and the rest of Steve's friends really could not stand him. Matt soon begins to fix his mistakes by reconciling with his band camp buddies.
To make it up to Elyse, Matt decides to pull the whole band together to get Elyse the scholarship to the Robards Conservatory. Matt writes up a forged letter on his computer and sends it to Elyse's house. Elyse gets the letter & goes to Robards. When Elyse gets to the front desk, she is told by the lady at the desk that the letter she has is a fake.
Matt who is playing the bagpipes outside, and after Elyse expresses her anger with him, the rest of the band is revealed and start playing Elyse's piece, Instrumental of Tal Bachman's Airplane, for the Conservatory head.
When Dr. Choi and her assistant come out to see what the noise is about, she mistakenly believes that the entire event has been orchestrated by Elyse and is sufficiently impressed to give her the scholarship. Elyse then thanks Matt and hugs him, who in turn gives back Elyse her piccolo which he thought was a dildo. They then kiss.
