The 2023 Brit Awards are taking place this Saturday 11 February at the O2 Arena in London.

The full list of nominations were announced in January, and revealed one of the most eclectic lists of nominees in recent memory.

Recent Grammy winners Wet Leg emerged as one of the most-nominated acts with four nods, alongside regular Brits attendee and Grammy Album of the Year winner, Harry Styles.

Other acts up for some of the night’s top prizes include rapper Stormzy, rock band Arctic Monkeys, and The 1975.

In the international categories, Irish rock group Fontaines DC can be found muscling up against K-pop stars Blackpink and hip-hop artists Drake and 21 Savage.

The Artist of the Year category faced widespread criticism after being entirely dominated by male acts, just one year after the Brits scrapped gendered categories.

On the night, live performances will come from artists including Stormzy, Lizzo, Harry Styles and Wet Leg.

Just one month after announcing its 2021 lineup, Dierks Bentley’s Seven Peaks Festival has been canceled. Returning for its third year after a 2020 hiatus, the country star’s event was originally set for September 3rd to 5th in Buena Vista, Colorado.

“Seven Peaks Music Festival is being cancelled for 2021 due to current capacity restrictions in place by local health officials,” the festival tweeted on Friday. “We are already planning for 2022, and a new location will be announced in the coming months.” Passes purchased for this year’s event will be refunded within 30 days.

Unfortunately, the ABC rep that TVLine spoke to refused to reveal any other details about Jennifer Grey's new role. So, we don't have a name for her character or what she'll be up to when she arrives. However, that has not stopped people from heavily speculating on who her character is. It's highly speculated that she could play character Jo Wilson's estranged mother.

The film will star Caribbean music star Machel Montano and Bollywood’s Priya Anand and the setting is the Trinidad version of Carnival.

Anand plays a woman who got engaged to a wealthy London suitor to help her father’s business. Then she meets a rugged local musician (Montano), whose charisma threatens those plans.

Shooting takes place in Trinidad and Tobago in October. Ancil McKain and Claire Ince will produce.

Exclusive: Former Blues Clues co-creator and exec producer Todd Kessler will direct Scandalous!, a musical being financed and produced by Indiepelago Films partners Ancil McKain and Claire Ince. The film will star Caribbean music star Machel Montano and Bollywood’s Priya Anand and the backdrop is the Trini version of Carnival. Anand plays a woman who got engaged to a wealthy London suitor to help her father’s business. Then she meets a rugged local musician (Montano), whose charisma threatens those plans. Shooting takes place in Trinidad and Tobago in October. Montano, who has recorded with artists including Pitbull and Wyclef Jean, will produce the soundtrack. Kessler, who ended his Blues Clues so he could direct movies, most recently helmed the teen thriller Keith. He is repped by Original Artists.

The Fall TV Season presentations for all the new network shows take place this week with the third announced earlier today. Here's a full breakdown of which concepts have made the final list over on ABC.

The network is changing up some of its serialized dramas - removing random repeats in favor of two "uninterrupted runs" of twelve episodes each (one in the fall, one in the spring) for shows like "Once Upon A Time," "Grey’s Anatomy," "Scandal" and "Revenge". The large gaps between the two half-seasons will be bridged by "limited series" designed around only 12-13 episode seasons.

I really don't put much stock in the International Animated Film Society's 2013 Annie Awards, which is why I didn't rush to report on their results on Saturday. One year Disney and Pixar boycott the event, feeling there was an unfair advantage paid to larger contributing sponsors, DreamWorks being the primary example. So with such a nasty stench over the event what good does it do to pay it much mind? That said, I'll be brief in mentioning Wreck-It Ralph topped Saturday night's winners with five awards, including Best Animated Picture. The awards have something like a 75% streak when it comes to helping predict the eventual Oscar winner for Best Animated Feature and as the days have gone on, it's looking more and more like Ralph will be this year's winner (see my predictions here). Clemenger Bbdo Melbourne was named agency of the year at the Melbourne Advertising & Design Club Awards tonight.

The agency won top honours for the second year running. However, rival Gpy&R Melbourne – which won more lions at Cannes this year than any Australian agency – did not enter for the second consecutive year. Last year, Patts Ecd Ben Coulson cited cost reasons for not supporting the event, which is Melbourne’s top awards show.

Heartthrob Jesse McCartney has already established himself as a singer-songwriter, with three solo albums under his belt.
