The selection of Master P degrades your show in my mind. I feel sorry for that poor girl who has to try to teach him and then dance with him. I have been a fan of the dance since the thirties, and I have seen only one other as clumsy and uncoordinated as he is, plus he threw her off the stage in the second or third week. I will not watch another episode in which he appears. The title is "Dancing with the stars" not stumbling around the stage after them. Your viewer vote may be a good thing on some shows, but dancing should be judged by dancers. I suggest that you have ten or twelve judges and let their decision be final. You have had two couples, who were better than he, thrown off the show because of your call-in votes.
This show is reality TV without the trash!! It is fun and uplifting.I admit that the title is a bit misleading. The "stars" are not "A" list, but it is still fun to watch. A star is paired up with a professional ballroom dancer throughout the duration of the show and they make up their own individual routines. Throughout the show the couples compete different types of dances every week and one couple a week gets eliminated. The couples each develop their individual styles and show their personalities through their dancing.
This show is a great opportunity to come together as a family or bunch of friends and spend the evening together. I highly recommend it!!

I love this show! Anyone who has ever dreamed of being graceful on a dance floor, or admired someone who was... will enjoy it as well.
No the celebrities are not always A-list actors, but the those people are usually occupied making movies to keep their A-list status.
Seeing people work so hard to do well at something they are not professionals at has been really fun. This is the only reality type TV show to catch my attention since the first season of American Idol, and its all made possible by the professional dancers.
My Favorite person on this show.. hands down is Ashly DelGrosso. Currently partnered with Master P, she has shown great poise and personality from last season to the current episode.
My only disappointment was the replacing of the female host from last season. I liked her a lot and am not impressed with the new woman they chose to take her place.
