Co-writer Peter Corey wrote a novel of the series ("Palace Hill", ISBN 0590760769), published in 1988 by Scholastic Publications' Hippo Books imprint.
When Palace Hill was shown as a serial segment on Your Mother Wouldn't Like It (1985), the theme tune had the following lyrics: "Every week we'll watch an episode, 'bout a school we know that's only up the road. It may seem like an ordinary joint, but here it is by Royal appointment."
