Jessie J announced that all U.S. dates of her No Secrets tour have been cancelled and that she has postponed her U.K. and European shows ahead of her second surgery after her breast cancer diagnoses.
The singer announced the news in a post shared to Instagram on Thursday. She began by saying that after scrapping her first video, which was five minutes long and “not realistic to anyone,” she decided to release a shorter one “with more facts, less emotion,” and to “just be blunt.”

Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's upcoming TV epic has lined up its U.S. streaming home a year after wrapping filming. Coster-Waldau shot to fame portraying morally ambiguous villain-turned-antihero Jaime Lannister in HBO's pop culture behemoth franchise, for which he earned nominations for two Primetime Emmys.
In the years since its divisive ending, Coster-Waldau has not explored the same kind of historical epic storytelling as Game of Thrones. Instead, he's been seen in everything from Brian De Palma's crime thriller Domino to the true-story-based survival thriller Against the Ice, which he co-wrote and produced, and Apple TV+ mystery thriller series The Last Thing He Told Me.
Per Deadline, King & Conquerer is set for a home on Prime Video in the United States, and HBO Max in several other territories, following Paramount Global's deal for the upcoming historical epic. The show is set to star Coster-Waldau as William,...

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is putting on his battle armor yet again in the official trailer for the new BBC historical drama, King & Conqueror. The Game of Thrones alum will take on the role of William, Duke of Normandy, who fought against James Norton‘s Harold, Earl of Wessex, in the Battle of Hastings, which is described as one of the bloodiest battles in Britain's history. You can check out the new trailer for the historical epic series below.
As he prepares to go into battle in King & Conqueror, Coster-Waldau's William almost looks like a spitting image of his Game of Thrones character, Jaime Lannister, who is considered one of the most prominent characters in the Game of Thrones television and book series, based on the novels written by George R.R. Not every movie is made to win over critics, and honestly, that’s half the fun. Rotten Tomatoes might slap these films with scores lower than your math test in 8th grade, but guess what? They’re still wildly entertaining in their own weird, messy, over-the-top way. Some became cult favorites, some are “so bad they’re good,” and a few just aged better than anyone expected.
From chaotic action rides to misunderstood sci-fi and guilty-pleasure rom-coms, these movies prove that a low Rt score doesn’t mean low fun. Whether it’s wild plots, iconic one-liners, or just pure cinematic chaos, this list is here to celebrate the underdogs.
So, grab some popcorn, lower your expectations (just a little), and get ready to dive into 25 movies that critics side-eyed but audiences secretly (or loudly) loved. Because sometimes, the best movie nights come from the most unexpected picks.

The Beginning After the End, or Tbate, isn’t faring well. Rather, the anime and its run have been quite contentious, with fans calling for a boycott. Why shouldn’t they? Well, the animation is subpar and the pacing is rushed, and there are several other reasons.
Their anger is valid for the most part. No one wants their favorite series to be botched in any case. But the studio went above and beyond to fumble the storyline. The most recent episode, especially, had most viewers and readers flipping tables for real.
To give context, the studio might turn a deuteragonist into a possible villain, especially with the recent episode. This is detrimental to the plot and is yet another instance of the studio’s cascade of errors. It is precisely why the anime is garnering hate, and it doesn’t look good for the franchise.
Is Tbate villainizing its deuteragonist?...

It's wild to think that Ryan Reynolds' red and black one-mutant-army, who is totally aware he's being watched, has gone on to become one of the most successful comic book movie franchises in history. Somehow, Deadpool, aka Wade Wilson, clawed his way out of a hole in 2006 to do it almost 20 years later, just to the tune of *Nsync.
The hero who can't die (and can't sit in a car silently) has created a legacy built on poorly handled franchises and mocking the genre that he thrives on. It's this wild perspective that's enough to make us hopeful for the future wherever he ends up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, whether that be popping up in the "Secret Wars" or annoying the hell out of Tom Holland's Spider-Man, just the way comic book fans had always hoped.

El reparto de esta nueva temporada está formado por Michele Austin (Hard Truths), Ben Bailey Smith (David Brent: Life on the Road), Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing), Josh Finan (Say Nothing), James Nelson-Joyce (The Outlaws), Will Poulter (Guardianes de la galaxia Vol. 3...

Having started her career in action-heavy films like Domino, King Arthur and the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Keira Knightley decided in her early 20s to step away from the stunts. “I wanted to do stuff that was about words,” says Knightley. “Also, when you’re doing action films, generally speaking, it takes a long time. It’s quite dull.” With Joe Barton’s new spy thriller Black Doves, Knightley has finally found a way to combine her love for character drama with some impressive — and, to the actress, surprisingly enjoyable — fight choreography. “The whole idea of the character for me was that she had to be interesting enough to sustain on my interest for two seasons,” says Knightley. “She’s well interesting enough.”

“Black Doves,” Netflix’s latest thriller series, has it all. The dialogue is both clever and funny. There’s lots of political intrigue and Keira Knightley hasn’t been this action star since “Domino.” The award-winning actor Ben Whishaw is awesome as usual and there is one (literally) bloody shocking twist after another.
The setting is London during the Christmas holidays where Helen (Knightley) is married to UK Secretary of Defense Wallace Webb (Andrew Buchan), the mother of adorable fraternal twins and unbeknownst to Wallace, a spy feeding much of what goes on at 10 Downing Street to secret intel group, Black Doves. Helen’s information has been “lucrative” according to her handler. As is the case with these types of plots, when something goes very wrong and threatens to expose Helen, her long-time ‘Dove’ conspirator Sam (Whishaw) is sent in to help.
Up until this upset, life on the surface...

Deadpool's comic book co-creator thinks Josh Brolin's Cable needs to return in multiple projects after being absent from Deadpool & Wolverine. Brolin's Cable was one of the main characters of Deadpool 2. Before Disney bought Fox, an X-Force movie was in development, which would have once again seen Brolin's Cable alongside Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool, Zazie Beetz's Domino, and more. However, the Marvel Cinematic Universe had other plans, with Brolin not being part of Deadpool & Wolverine's star-studded cast. Now, one of Deadpool's creators wants to see Brolin return as Cable for the long haul.
On Twitter, Rob Liefeld commented on how "it is a missed opportunity" not to have Josh Brolin back as Cable in the MCU.

Brian De Palma has (at least) one more feature in mind.
The auteur told Vulture as part of a 40th anniversary piece for “Body Double,” that he has one more film in the works. The announcement was a surprise to some in the business, including Nick Newman of The Film Stage, who commented on the news that he had previously “heard from more than one reliable source that Brian De Palma was done directing.”
Apparently not.
De Palma most recently directed “Domino” in 2019; he had also publicly announced two other projects in 2018, respectively titled “Sweet Vengeance” and “The Predator.” Neither film was made.
Now, it seems that De Palma is set on a different possible swan song.
“I have one other film I’m planning to make. And we’re in the process of trying to cast it,” De Palma said. “I can’t tell you what it is, until it happens.

Gambit could come back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside a past movie team, fixing a problem with the character's comic book history. Channing Tatum's Gambit is one of the most talked about multiverse characters from Deadpool & Wolverine. The actor spent several years trying to get a solo movie off the ground, and while he would love to finally see that happen after his debut in the McU's only 2024 movie, Gambit getting a solo film in the MCU at this point seems unlikely.
While a Gambit solo movie might not be in the McU's plans, Tatum's fan-favorite turn could very well lead to him returning to Marvel Studios' slate of projects. Since the R-rated film's release, many fans have been asking for Tatum to be made the McU's Gambit when the X-Men reboot comes around. It's actually quite a feat to have been left out of "Deadpool & Wolverine," which was, as /Film's Chris Evangelista put it, a disappointing cameo-fest. Whether you agree with the "disappointing" part, the "cameo-fest" part cannot be denied. "Deadpool & Wolverine" went further than any Marvel Cinematic Universe film yet (and maybe any film in general) when it came to guest appearances. This movie packed in a host of characters from the erstwhile 20th Century Fox Marvel universe, while also debuting several "What-If"-style heroes in the form of Channing Tatum's Gambit and Henry Cavill's "Cavill-rine."
Beyond that, we got guest appearances from Wesley Snipes' Blade, voice cameos from both Matthew McConaughey and star Ryan Reynolds' wife Blake Lively, and even saw MCU characters such as Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan. The sheer amount of cameos in this film really is dizzying. So...

The mutant mercenary Domino, played by Zazie Beetz, undoubtedly stole almost every scene in Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 2. Yet shockingly, the character wasn’t on anybody’s list of the most famous X-Men. This is where a recent fan theory intervened and justified the reason behind this indifference towards Beetz’s character.

According to a few Marvel enthusiasts who rewatched Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool films, following the release of the third sequel, Domino’s superpower became a topic of debate. Considering how she could manipulate the luck factor to play in her favor, netizens wondered if Zazie Beetz’s character was actually a villain because of the way her powers worked. And perhaps that’s why she couldn’t become a fan-favorite X-Men.

We expected Deadpool & Wolverine to kill the Fox Universe; instead, it paid homage to that world, putting the spotlight on legacy heroes like the Human Torch and Elektra, in the process.
There were a great many rumours heading into the movie, including claims Ben Affleck's Daredevil would appear. While the character was referenced (via a cheeky nod to Jennifer Garner's divorce from Affleck), there was ultimately no sign of the Man Without Fear.
Talking to IndieWire, Deadpool & Wolverine writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese admitted they "wanted" Daredevil, with Reese saying, "Did we want to get Ben [Affleck]? We never asked Ben though, I don’t think." Wenick then confirmed, "At some point, Ben was on the list."
Added Reese, "Ben was on the list, but I don’t think it ever came into script pages or actually asking him. One of the great joys of 'Deadpool' is the fact that,...

Madame Web expands Sony's universe of Marvel characters even further, introducing Dakota Johnson's titular superhero and an A-list cast made of young movie stars. The film introduces the Venomverse to the larger Marvel multiverse through the eyes of Cassandra Webb, who develops psychic powers allowing her to see into other universes.

‘Furiosa’ Composer Tom Holkenberg aka JunkieXL Teases Score with First Single, ‘Dementus Is Gaining’
We can already feel our theater seats shaking. This past Friday, “Furiosa” composer Tom Holkenberg (aka Junkie Xl) dropped a taste of his upcoming score for the film with the single, “Dementus Is Gaining”. The propulsive electronica track features a familiar trance-like beat that incorporates the sound of revving engines, but also has a noticeably more haunting quality than that of the score for “Mad Max: Fury Road”, implying a prequel that may have more of an emotional bite than its predecessor.
“My collaboration with the incredible George Miller began over a decade ago with our work on ‘Mad Max: Fury Road,’ a project that marked a pivotal moment in my career as a film composer,” says Holkenberg. “Returning to this world to score the odyssey of ‘Furiosa,’ an epic tale of survival, resilience and revenge has been just as eye-opening and gratifying. ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ is a...

World-renowned director Steven Spielberg was at the height of his career when he made the Oscar-winning film "Schindler's List," but he wasn't the only filmmaker who was interested in adapting the novel of the same name for the silver screen. The acclaimed director Billy Wilder, an auteur of classic Hollywood cinema who penned and directed such renowned films as "The Apartment" and "Sunset Boulevard," was also vying for the rights to turn this story into a movie. However, by the time Thomas Keneally's evocative historical novel was published in 1993, Wilder's career was already winding down.
For a long time, Wilder enjoyed one of the most prosperous careers in Hollywood. YouTube has continued its end-of-year recap by drawing insights from 2023’s top advertising trends. In a blog post, the YouTube ads team discussed the ways that AI, short-form content, and the creator economy powered winning campaigns over the past 12 months.
2022 was the year that YouTube touted its multiformat approach, and the platform supported that strategy in 2023 by rolling out new features like related links. Advertisers bought into the multiformat hype by spreading campaigns across long-form videos, live streams, and Shorts. YouTube cited Apple as one advertiser that varied the runtimes of its ads. Its 2023 spots ranged from short-form quick hitters to a 90-minute “Study With Me” video.
Another technological advancement — generative AI — opened up a new world of possibilities for advertisers on YouTube. As the platform introduced a full toolkit of AI-inspired features, it assisted advertisers through AI-driven Video Reach Campaigns that delivered 3.7 times more return on ad spend compared to manually optimized campaigns.

While it took longer than anticipated to bring this new material to fans, critics and viewers alike have noted no loss in quality. The season addresses a myriad of themes, some of which are surprising to those expecting a purely lighthearted experience. That alone would be enough to classify the season as a success,...
