This is one of the most underrated game of COD. It is not only one of the best, it is my favorite part. Especially when you want to play multiplayer, this game offers much more than its successors. We can use jeeps and even tanks which makes the Multiplayer game very interesting. The levels are very cool and it has a decent graphics. The single player is old school WWII stuff but covers great stories.
Games like these are the reason i cant adapt to Black Ops or its successors because the class this game offered was no doubt the best.
This game is quite good. It has amazing graphics like the original, and it has the same amazing sound. The only downfall is that the Battle of the Bulge has already been featured in other games. The addition of the flamethrower is, what I find a good addition. Even the Battle of the Bulge has already been played, I think, like the original Call of Duty, the American campaign, out of all of them, is the best.
It also seems to have more of that jaw-dropping effect than the original Call of Duty had, obviously because of the more advanced graphics and sound(its amazing what 1 year can change!!).The Battle of the Bulge has already been played in Medal of Honor Allied Assault spearhead.

"Call of Duty: United Offensive" 2004 is a kind of continuation of the original "Call of Duty", which looks more like a major addition than a full-fledged new game. Nevertheless, it provides players with several exciting campaigns dedicated to the Second World War, while maintaining the atmosphere and character of the original.
The game's plot is divided into three campaigns, each of which tells about different fronts and soldiers: American, British and Soviet. Among the missions, the battles in the Ardennes Forest, the attack in Holland and the fierce defense of Kharkov and its railway station stand out. The last mission was well remembered for its intensity. It was extremely difficult to survive there. The developers tried to show the importance of each episode of the war, saturated the locations with a lot of important details, literally immersing them in all the horrors of the war.
The mechanics of the game are almost identical to the original "Call of Duty", which was not a big disadvantage, but also did not bring anything new. Control, shooting, interaction with allies - everything here has remained at the usual level. This is both a plus, since the player does not need to get used to something new, and a minus, because there is practically no sense of novelty.
The graphics in "United Offensive" have not undergone significant changes. Although the game looks decent for its time, the detail and elaboration of the environment are not surprising. It is especially noticeable that the models of characters and environments are still quite angular, and the textures are not always pleasing to the eye. Nevertheless, the atmosphere of war is perfectly conveyed, especially in large-scale battles.
As a result, "Call of Duty: United Offensive" is a worthy addition with memorable missions and fascinating plot twists. The game is good for those who want to return to the world of the original "Kolda" and continue their adventures on the fronts of the Second World War. However, the lack of significant changes and innovations does not allow it to become anything more than an extension of a familiar experience. But it's still one of the favorite games in the series.
