Anna Neye's character "Dyveke Hartkore" is a spoof on the actual news anchor Vibeke Hartkorn, who anchored TV-Avisen (1965) from 2001 to 2007.
Both Anna Neye and Hella Joof's characters have the same names in the season 1 soap opera ("In this Godforsaken Place") and the season 2 soap opera ("Mothers and Daughters"). Their names are Linda and Barbara respectively.
In the TV-series "Kald mig bare brun", Maria Hørby states that she isn't offended by Anna Neye's "weather negro"-sketch, where Anna spoofs Maria as a weather forecaster, while wearing blackface. Maria says "I don't care at all" (Original quote in Danish: "Jeg er godt nok hamrende ligeglad"), when asked about the fact that Anna wears blackface while portraying her. Maria further says "Well, you don't look like me with your skin color. You have to do something, in order to look like me. You also have to take off your glasses." (Original quote in Danish: "Jamen altså, du ligner jo ikke mig med den hudfarve du har. Altså, kom nu, tag dig sammen, ikke? Du bliver da nødt til at gøre noget for at komme til at ligne mig. Du skal tage brillerne af også, ellers ligner du mig ikke.").
