Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave (2005)

Trivia

Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave

Edit
One of the characters is named "Coach Savini". This is a "tip of the hat" to horror effects artist Tom Savini, who perfected the classic zombie look in most of the George Romero films.
Director Tobe Hooper was once attached to direct this movie and the previous entry Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis (2005) early in pre-production. Hooper was also considered as director of the first film in the franchise, Le retour des morts-vivants (1985), but eventually passed on the opportunity.
Filmed simultaneously with Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis (2005), using the same locations in Romania and Ukraine. Peter Coyote, Aimee-Lynn Chadwick, Cory Hardrict, and John Keefe returned from the previous installment.
The zombie trying to hitch a ride in the final scene is supposed to be Tarman, the infamous melting zombie from Le retour des morts-vivants (1985) (as evidenced by his trademark quote, "Brains!!!").
Elena Ghenoiu's debut.
