Straight forward directing and a good ensemble cast. The script cleverly uses the potential provided by language barriers. All in all the movie is quite entertaining and shows why Europe really is to enjoy.
The humor of the movie is built upon international differences and similarities. It bears some bias on nations but it doesn't emphasize them, it just plays with them to create humor. At the end, I liked the movie and I liked Mr. Stöhr after listening to his conference about his movie. Not an important movie after all, but helps enjoying being European with a cute humor.

- TriviaSome Deportivo La Coruna fans are shown holding Turkish flags during the movie. This is not because they are playing against a Turkish team and they want to look friendly, Deportivo fans are called "Los Turcos" by their fiercest rivals, Celta de Vigo fans. Celta fans initiated this nickname to humiliate the Deportivo fans thinking that the "Turks" are lower people, but instead the Deportivo fans liked this name even decided to call themselves "Los Turcos", most probably because the Turks have a notorious history over Europe. Because of this, Deportivo La Coruna is a very popular team among Turkish people.
- GoofsDuring the Moscow part, everyone in the police station is watching the final game, but the scenes briefly shown on the TV (which are supposedly from the actual final game) are actually from the Galatasaray-Deportivo Champions Leauge 2nd Group, Group B match from 14.02.2001. This game ended 1-0 in favor of Galatasaray, thanks to an 8th minute goal from Suat Kaya.

Think... Via Láctea - Milky Street. Stars from the sky proyect onto Earth Camino de Santiago. You know? Because erm, Milky Street? Stars from sky proyect onto Earth Camino de Santiago. You know? Catholic's Church's like new enterprise. Giving new name to a rather Holy place. You understand?
