The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (2009)

Trivia

The Haunted World of El Superbeasto

Edit
Based on a comic book of the same title by Rob Zombie.
Primary inspirations for animation were Le croque-monstres Show (1970) and Ren et Stimpy Show (1991). Thematically, the work was also inspired by the works of Ralph Bakshi, particularly his adult works such as Fritz le chat (1972) and Flipper City (1973).
Took over four years to complete due to Rob Zombie's commitments to Halloween (2007) and Halloween 2 (2009).
Some characters from other Rob Zombie movies make appearances: Baby, Otis, and Spaulding (La Maison des 1000 morts (2003) and The Devil's Rejects (2005)) are patrons in the strip club; Michael Myers (Halloween (2007) and Halloween 2 (2009)) is hit by Superbeasto's car.
The number 666 shows up frequently in the film, including the copyright date at the beginning - DCLXVI, 666 in Roman Numerals.
