The list of the IMDb's 250 top-rated films is an interesting peek into the minds of IMDb users. The people who log onto IMDb to give ratings seem to be, collectively, very fond of movies about criminals, prisoners, or war. There is also a heavy violent-fantasy contingent. Almost all the films on the list are about men, masculinity, and male concerns. The ten highest-rated films on the top-250 list include titles like "The Shawshank Redemption," "The Godfather," "The Lord of the Rings," "Pulp Fiction," and "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly."
Of course, the 100 worst-rated films on IMDb is more of a mixed bag. Great films tend to be the movies that many audience members and critics agree are great. Bad films tend to be individually uncovered discoveries, oddball outliers that no one wants to talk about. Classics bring communities together. Bad films feel deeply personal.

Paramount+ has officially greenlit “Nola King,” a spinoff of “Tulsa King” starring Samuel L. Jackson.
Variety originally reported on the series in June, with Jackson set to first appear in the upcoming third season of “Tulsa King” before moving over to his own series. Paramount has now officially confirmed plot details for “Nola King,” with the official logline stating:
“‘Nola King’ follows Russell Lee Washington Jr. (Jackson) who, after befriending Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) during a ten-year stint in federal prison, is sent to Tulsa by New York’s Renzetti crime family to take Dwight out once and for all. Inspired by what Dwight created in Tulsa and impressed with the possibilities of second chances, Washington returns to New Orleans, the home he abandoned forty-years ago, to rekindle his relationship with his family, friends, and to take control of the city he left behind. In so doing, he incurs the...

Scarlett Johansson set a new record this weekend, becoming Hollywood’s highest-grossing lead actor (before inflation adjustment) at the global box office. And she’s in some pretty familiar company.
The actress overtook the top spot thanks to her new film “Jurassic World Rebirth,” which hit theaters on July 2, playing mercenary Zora Bennett. In its first six days in theaters worldwide, the film notched a $318 million global launch, giving Johansson a lifetime career box office gross of $14.8 billion in films where she plays a lead role or a lead ensemble role.
Naturally, you might find yourself wondering exactly who Johansson surpassed to get there. Well, we can tell you, and yes, there are quite a few Marvel stars on the list.
Check out the 10 highest-grossing lead actors below, according to data from The Numbers:

Samuel L. Jackson is not just one of the most prolific actors around, but he's also one of the most beloved. Before Dwayne Johnson tried to turn himself into "franchise viagra," Jackson was actually helping build properties from the ground up, being a part of so many that he's become the highest-grossing actor of all time. His cameo as Nick Fury in "Iron Man" helped set the Marvel Cinematic Universe's decade-long pop cultural domination in motion, and it was all because Marvel Comics used his face without permission. Of course, Jackson is more than a mere blockbuster machine, having also starred in many acclaimed lower-budget, director-driven films (ranging from "Pulp Fiction" to "Do the Right Thing").
Part of Jackson's appeal is that he shows up everywhere. He's a working actor unafraid to offset his big-budget turns and prestige roles with fun popcorn movies like "Snakes on a Plane" or the...

Hot off a franchise-best debut, director Danny Boyle's 28 Years Later is all set to pass the $100 million mark at the global box office this weekend. The movie made $60 million worldwide in its first three days of release and has since held up moderately well. On Monday, the zombie horror film grossed around $3 million domestically, pushing its running total to $32 million. This takes the film's global box office haul to $63 million, which puts it ahead of a Jason Statham movie that has slipped through the cracks of time. The movie is Cellular, which also happened to feature none other than Chris Evans as the parallel lead.
Directed by the late David R. Ellis, who'll always be remembered for Snakes on a Plane, the movie debuted theatrically in 2004 and grossed $62 million worldwide. Cellular was produced on a reported budget of $25 million, which makes it a nifty little hit for both Statham,...

Remember those good old action comedies from the 90s and early aughts that didn't take themselves too seriously? There was something about them that felt like comfort food, right? Well, if you're in the mood for a bit of nostalgia, you're in luck, because filming has officially wrapped on Zombie Plane, a bizarre new action comedy that brings together the likes of Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice, and Brian Autin Green to save the world from an undead outbreak.
Per Variety, principal photography is now in the can on Zombie Plane, which is set to hit theaters later this year. Also on board are Ice-t and Sophie Monk, who, like Norris, Ice, and Green, will play a version of themselves in the new action comedy. Directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier, the over-the-top plot asks: what if your favorite celebrities were actually crime-fighting heroes who helped save the world from various threats?...

When we think of Samuel L. Jackson, we think of films like “Pulp Fiction” and “Jackie Brown” and, if we’re being honest, “Snakes on a Plane.” He’s an explosive actor who knows exactly when to detonate, lulling the audience into a sense of false familiarity with an easy smile and knowing chuckle that fall away at just the right moment. Then his kindly eyes turn sharply devilish and he reveals a fury we never would have expected, no matter how many movies of his we’ve seen. He’s a master of the dramatic and tonal segue, an extreme shift that makes some actors look laughable.
Jackson is at his tricky, insidious best in Richard Gray’s “The Unholy Trinity.” Unfortunately it’s a mediocre western that doesn’t deserve him. I’m not sure it deserves his co-stars Pierce Brosnan and Q’orianka Kilcher either. They’re all...

Samuel L. Jackson is one of Hollywood’s most iconic and versatile stars, with a career that spans decades and includes everything from cult classics and box office hits to major franchise blockbusters.
Yet, despite his immense popularity and critical acclaim, Jackson has received only one Oscar nomination before eventually being honored with an honorary Academy Award for his lifetime contributions to movies.
Still, the lack of traditional awards recognition doesn’t faze him, something he once again emphasized in a recent interview, boldly stating that he has never chased Oscar-bait roles or movies like many others do.

Updated: A spinoff of “Tulsa King” set in New Orleans is currently in the works at Paramont+, with Samuel L. Jackson attached to star and executive produce.
Variety has learned from sources that the project, currently titled “Nola King,” will be set up by a guest starring appearance from Jackson in the upcoming third season of Taylor Sheridan’s “Tulsa King.” Exact details about the new series remain under wraps, aside from the fact that Jackson would lead the series as a character similar to Sylvester Stallone’s in “Tulsa King.”
Dave Erickson, who currently works with Sheridan on both “Tulsa King” and “Mayor of Kingstown,” will serve as writer, showrunner, and executive producer on “Nola King.” Sheridan will also executive produce, as will David C. Glasser of 101 Studios. MTV Entertainment Studios will produce.

Samuel L. Jackson is getting to an age where he could decide to kick back and take it easy. The 76-year-old has over 200 credits to his name, and is very rarely off screens, often doing more work than many stars half his age. However, it seems that as long as he is capable of acting, he won't stop anytime soon.
Speaking in a new interview, Jackson's wife, Latanya Richardson Jackson, told People that the couple have a special way of deciding when the time is right to call it a day. She said:
"My husband and I — Sam and I — both have said we're going to do it till the wheels fall off. We both have ... this pact between us that if we see ourselves doing more [than] we [should] be doing, we'll pull each other in and say, ‘It's time. Come in the house,’ and do it that way.’ We...

If there’s one singular moment that stands above all the gruesome opening catastrophes and over-the-top deaths in the Final Destination film series, it’s the logging truck and the deadly highway pile-up it caused in Final Destination 2.
The original Final Destination set the bar high with a harrowing plane explosion mid-air. Its direct follow-up, released in 2003 and set one year after the first film’s events, upped the ante in terror with a far more statistically probable catastrophe that hits closer to home. Director David R. Ellis and screenwriters Eric Bress & J. Mackye Gruber (The Butterfly Effect) expanded upon their predecessor’s elaborate kills as well as Death’s rules.
Armed with an almost entirely new cast and set of characters, Final Destination 2 unceremoniously kills off Final Destination’s protagonist and premonition wielder Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) off-screen between films, noted via newspaper clipping and details by the sole returning character,...

Samuel L. Jackson has become a Hollywood icon starring in films like Pulp Fiction and Unbreakable, as well as starring as Nick Fury in the MCU. He is also what you may call a wise dude, and for that reason he is a perfect candidate to take part in Masterclass' program of lessons. What makes Jackson such a legend is not only that he's a very experienced actor with hundreds of credits to his name, but he has learned a lot of life-lessons on movie sets over his years in the industry. Jackson has revealed that during the production of one of his early action movies, there was a sign on the wall with a message that he decided to maintain and practice every day. That's the reason why you won't find him spewing out expletives all over a set unless it is scripted - because Jackson is actually a very nice guy.

Josh Hartnett in ‘Fight or Flight’ (Photo Credit: Vertical)
Josh Hartnett faces off against a planeload of hired assassins in Fight or Flight, a wildly chaotic and entertaining action thriller from first-time feature film director James Madigan. Think Snakes on a Plane if the reptiles had very special skill sets, or Bullet Train, but at 37,000 feet.
Hartnett reinvigorated his career with Trap, proving he can handle the calm, cool, and psychotic collectedness of an M. Night Shyamalan serial killer. And now with Fight or Flight, Hartnett once again plays a killer, but this one is, more or less, a good guy.
The intro to Hartnett’s Lucas Reyes quickly confirms the former agent’s seen better days. Forced out of his job and forced into lying low, Lucas has turned into a day-drinking pedicab driver. The promise of a clean slate lures him away from his bottle and onto a...

Thank God for Josh Hartnett. We live in a deeply troubled world, so miserable lately that it’s hard to find the motivation to look out a window let alone watch a cheesy action movie. But Hartnett provides. The actor may not have written or directed the new high-octane, high altitude action-comedy “Fight or Flight” but it’s his put upon, simultaneously early-and-late era Daffy Duck energy that makes it soar.
“Fight or Flight” stars Hartnett as Lucas Reyes, a bedraggled cab driver, permanently hung over and sporting frosted tips in the year 2025, so you know he’s having a rough one. He gets a call from his ex-girlfriend and ex-boss Katherine Brunt (Katee Sackhoff), and she’s in a pickle. You see, Reyes used to work in the Secret Service before he got railroaded, and he’s been living on the run ever since. All he has to do...

I love a movie with a simple yet exciting premise, and Netflix’s Bullet Train Explosion‘s title sums that up perfectly. (I’m not sure there has been more of an apt title since Snakes on a Plane.) The film, a remake of the 1975 Japanese thriller The Bullet Train, which also inspired Speed—the movie that, incidentally, saved Keanu Reeves’s career and launched Sandra Bullock’s.
This updated version is flawed, fun, and frenetic, but it delivers just enough thrills to earn a mild recommendation for a mindless diversion on Netflix’s streaming waves.

Samuel L Jackson Box Office ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Samuel L. Jackson knew how to guarantee box office numbers, even if it meant personally fronting the first thousand bucks. During a hilarious appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Jackson cracked the secret: “I know when I have a movie that’s opening, I know it’s going to make at least $1,000 that weekend because I buy $1,000 worth of tickets. I give them to the church, or I give them to somebody, and their kids go.” That’s not just confidence. That’s commitment.
The moment had the audience in stitches, but he wasn’t joking. Jackson backed his films, literally. And while $1,000 wouldn’t dent today’s box office reports, the gesture summed up Jackson’s larger-than-life energy. Whether it was Pulp Fiction or Snakes on a Plane, he showed up for his work.

Do you like action at 37,000 feet? We do, too. That's why we're thrilled to tell you a bit more about Fight or Flight, one of the summer's most intriguing prospects, which stars a resurgent Josh Hartnett as an exiled American agent given an unenviable task aboard a Transpacific flight between Bangkok and San Francisco. As part of Collider’s Exclusive Preview event, we’re unveiling an exclusive new image highlighting the carnage and chaos aboard one very bumpy ride. The film is directed by James Madigan and written by Brooks McLaren & DJ Cotrona.

Executives at New Line Cinema have been discussing the potential future of Snakes on a Plane. Now, it seems like the 2006 movie might be getting a sequel.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, New Line Cinema Cco Richard Brener discussed the future of multiple properties under the studio's umbrella, including the Samuel L. Jackson-led Snakes on a Plane. When asked about the possibility of a sequel, Brener said, "There have been conversations about those kinds of things or other things on a plane. But no current plans."
Directed by David R. How basic and hipster dumb and derivative is “Clown in a Cornfield?” Like many a slasher film before it, the movie is trying to launch its own iconic masked killer. But check out if any of this sounds overly familiar. The killer, named Frendo, wears the face of an evil leering clown, like Pennywise from “It,” topped by a small cocked hat like the one worn by Art the Clown in the “Terrifier” films. Frendo does indeed dispatch many of his victims in a cornfield, which means that the film’s title is perhaps the most self-consciously literal piece of high-concept branding since “Snakes on a Plane.” “Clown in a Cornfield” is based on a YA novel, but before you assume it’s the “Stranger Things” of mayhem, what the pedigree comes down to is that the victims — a group of teenagers in the small-town farm community of Kettle Springs...

Snakes on Plane gave audiences exactly what they came for, it's all spoiled in the title. It also helped that A-list actor Samuel L. Jackson led the ensemble.
Snakes on a Plane streams on Peacock starting Mar. 1. This 2006 action-thriller was much-anticipated leading to release, thanks to viral marketing and media coverage. Interest peaked when Samuel L. Jackson jumped into the project; New Line Cinema initially doubted he was onboard and even confirmed with his agent. Jackson also proved pivotal to development; the film was titled Pacific Air Flight 121 at one point, but the actor insisted they keep Snakes on Plane as the official title, which is the only reason he joined the ensemble.

Oftentimes, the stars perfectly align for an actor when they book a series of high-profile projects that release in a short amount of time, taking them from a relatively unknown into the next big thing in seemingly just a year. Some great recent examples include Florence Pugh in 2019, where she had Fighting with My Family in February, Midsommar in July, and Little Women in December while landing the role of Yelena Belova in Black Widow in the same year. Or Jenna Ortega's 2022 lineup of Scream, Avenue 666, X,American Carnage, and Wednesday in one year made her the new scream queen. Sometimes, the stars align.

Nine years after the biopic Hacksaw Ridge (2016), starring Andrew Garfield as a Seventh-Day Adventist and pacifist who's called to the battlefield, Mel Gibson returns to the director's chair with American Hairlines, I mean, Flight Risk. The film stars Mark Wahlberg as Daryl Booth, a hitman marked by male pattern baldness and a penchant for torture. Joining the gleeful sadist on this bumpy ride, we have Michelle Dockery portraying a beleaguered Deputy U.S. Marshal and Topher Grace as mob accountant-turned-witness. It's a single-location three-hander with a hook, and it couldn't be less of a piece with the rest of Gibson's directorial efforts. His previous credits include the multi-award-winning Braveheart (1995), in which he also starred, the controversial mega-hit The Passion of the Christ (2004), and the controversial yet slightly-less-successful-than-Passion-though-still-a-hit Apocalypto (2006). If one thing is resoundingly clear looking at Gibson's body of work, it's that he favors the pictures with an epic heft.

Firearms specialist Patrick McNamara analyzed gun technique and accuracy in 13 Hollywood action movies for Business Insider's How Real Is It? podcast series. In the video, McNamara breaks down how movie characters handle different types of weapons, recover ammo while in action, fire two guns at once, and more. Two of Samuel L. Jackson's films appear in the video: 2003's S.W.A.T., also starring Colin Farrell and Jeremy Renner, and Pulp Fiction, also starring John Travolta and Bruce Willis.
Some of Jackson's most notable performances involve detailed action sequences, from playing Mace Windu in Star Wars and Nick Fury in Marvel, to his infamous flick, Snakes on a Plane. However, Jackson's action wasn't enough to save one of the films that McNamara reviewed. S.W.A.T. is a movie adaptation of the 1975 crime drama of the same name. Peter and Bobby Farrelly's Christmas comedy, Dear Santa, starring Jack Black, has finally arrived after a decade-long journey. Dear Santa follows the story of Liam (Robert Timothy Smith), a young boy with dyslexia who thinks that Santa Claus "is probably not real." Still, he decides to write Santa a letter, but a spelling error has dire results. Instead of addressing the envelope to the jolly bearded gift distributor, Liam writes "Satan," summoning Black's character, who begins pretending he is Santa. During a recent conversation with Variety, the brothers discussed where the idea for Dear Santa was born and why it took them ten years to get the movie "just right:"
"Pete Jones and Kevin Barnett, who we work with a lot, brought us the idea and they said, 'A kid's writing a letter to Santa, but he misspells it and instead writes it to Satan.' We're like, 'We'll buy that.

The Farrelly brothers have had a long career both collaborating and helming projects individually. They’re coming together again for the holidays with the new Paramount+ film “Dear Santa,” a naughty but sweet Christmas confection starring Jack Black as Satan, who is accidentally summoned by a boy named Liam (Robert Timothy Smith) who can’t spell when writing a letter to Kris Kringle.
Peter and Bobby Farrelly spoke with Variety about their favorite Christmas movies, the power of underdog stories, and which of their movies would be worth revisiting.

Samuel L. Jackson is in negotiations to star in the next movie from director J.J. Abrams.
If the deal closes, he’ll join a cast that includes Glen Powell, Jenna Ortega and “Sex Education” star Emma Mackey. Abrams is writing and directing the untitled feature, of which details have been kept under wraps. Bad Robot, the company founded by Abrams, will serve as a producer.
Warner Bros. is backing the film, which is expected to commence production in the United Kingdom this spring. It’s unclear when the movie is slated to hit theaters.
This new project is Abrams’ first directorial effort since 2019’s “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker,” which culminated the nine-part saga to the tune of $1 billion at the global box office. Jackson, who portrayed Jedi Master Mace Windu in the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy, briefly worked with Abrams for a voice cameo for the climax of “Rise of Skywalker.

Warning: Major spoilers ahead for Cobra Kai season 6, part 2.Patrick Luwis' Axel Kovaevi seems heavily enamored with Mary Mouser's Cobra Kai character, which means there could be a foolish last-minute fight for Samantha "Sam" Larusso's heart just before the Karate Kid sequel show draws to an end. Still, his interactions with his opponents, teammates, and even his sensei, have sometimes been difficult to interpret. One thing is clear: Axel has his eye on Sam.

Warning: Spoilers for Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, brings a potential romance between Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto) and Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita) to a disappointing end. Chozen and Kumiko are legacy characters introduced in The Karate Kid Part II. Kumiko was Daniel Larusso's (Ralph Macchio) love interest while Chozen made Daniel-san his sworn enemy. Kumiko and Chozen both returned in Cobra Kai season 3, and both Okinawans are firmly on Daniel's side.
Daniel enlisted Chozen's help against Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) and brought his fellow Miyagi-Do sensei to California in Cobra Kai season 5. Chozen became Miyago-Do's third sensei alongside Daniel-san and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), but Chozen also revealed he is in love with Kumiko, a torch he's carried since the 1980s. At the end of Cobra Kai season 6, part 1, Chozen decided to return to Okinawa and win Kumiko's heart.

At the end of Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 1, it looked like there was just one major antagonist left for our heroes to deal with — assuming they could put their own differences aside to survive the Sekai Taikai, that is — with things finally coming to a head with John Kreese (Martin Kove). In Part 2, though, we quickly learn just how wrong that is. In Episode 8, “Snakes on a Plane,” Daniel learns that the “thug” who was sent to kidnap him wasn’t just a minion of Sensei Wolf (Lewis Tan) — he’s also a henchman of Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), who returns in a familiar scene: a steaming hottub, just like fans will remember him lounging in Karate Kid III. And that henchman has a familiar story as well. He’s Dennis de Guzman (portrayed by William Christopher Ford), one of Silver’s bullies who attacked Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) at Mr.

It was November 2021, deep Covid time, and I had unmasked to have a drink with Kiki Benzon at The Surly Goat, a bar in West Hollywood. I hadn’t seen her in 30 years. In the early 1990s, Kiki and I had been rivals on the über-geeky North American private-school debate circuit; she attended school in British Columbia, I was from Connecticut, and we’d met as seniors at a tournament in Boston, then another in Winnipeg. After we got our stories on the table — my writing, my wife and children, her teaching (film studies at USC), her early recent widowhood — we got around to John Connery Heffernan III.
“Heff” was my high school classmate and debate partner and traveled with me to those long-ago tournaments; at one of them, he and Kiki spent a steamy night together. Kiki and I had both fallen out of touch with Heff, but knowing him,...

There are many ways to talk about Jared Padalecki's career. You could gauge his work by the length of his iconically-floppy hairdo, which sometimes got too long, worked pretty well for him in the aughts, and has somehow circled back around to being in style again. You could talk about him as the King of The CW, a network that has leaned on him as a star for more than two decades, going all the way back to when it was called "The WB." You could note that he hasn't done much on film, probably as a result of his never-ending television schedule, but you could also note that in the 2000s, he ruled a number of fun horror movies anyway.
On the other hand, you could talk about Jared Padalecki the way he does: as a man just trying to provide for his family. "I've been absent a lot.

Most of the single-location movies I have come across have aimed to thrill. Alfred Hitchcock’s Rope, Dial M for Murder, and Rear Window are some of the most beautifully crafted murder mysteries in existence. Sidney Lumet’s 12 Angry Men, Murder on the Orient Express, and Dog Day Afternoon are dripping with tension and drama. The Shining, The Thing, Misery, Krampus, and The Hateful Eight have expertly used a wintery landscape to generate suspense and horror. Snakes on a Plane, Train to Busan, and Greyhound have turned entire vehicles themselves into battlegrounds for survival. And the list just goes on. So, yes, it’s a little hard to find a single-location film that doesn’t get your heart pumping and your mind racing because being stuck in one place is terrifying. That said, Rocky Walls’ Dirty Laundry is a real change of pace. Is it any good? Let’s find out.

Samuel L. Jackson has had it with these motherf*ckin’ snakes on this motherf*ckin’ plane! It might be the single greatest movie line of the 21st century, but it almost didn’t happen. We all know how it came about: fans of Jackson’s had to hear him say “motherf*cker” at some point in Snakes on a Plane, but since it was a PG-13, that would be a no-go, lest it be bumped to an R. Cinema has long been to thank for many a viral moment on social media, but one of the earliest examples was a now-famous quote uttered by screen legend Samuel L. Jackson in the 2006 action thriller, “Snakes on a Plane.” I’m speaking, of course, about when his character, exasperated FBI Agent Neville Flynn, said, “I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane.” In a career retrospective with GQ, Jackson shared how this iconic moment almost didn’t happen.
“They were trying to make a PG-13 movie, and you can only have one ‘fuck’ or some shit like that in [a PG-13 movie],” he said. “And I told them, ‘Look, I gotta say motherfucker in this movie. An MPAA rating almost deprived audiences of one of Samuel L. Jackson‘s most quoted lines.

Samuel L. Jackson recalls how his iconic Snakes on a Plane line almost wasn't included in the movie. Released in 2006, Snakes on a Plane is directed by David R. Ellis, with Jackson starring as an FBI agent who finds himself facing off against dozens of venomous snakes while flying a valuable witness from Hawaii to Los Angeles. The film, which also stars Julianna Margulies, Rachel Blanchard, and Kenan Thompson, earned lukewarm reviews, and is now fondly remembered for Jackson's line: "I have had it with these motherf---ing snakes on this motherf---ing plane."
In a recent interview with GQ, Jackson reflects on his experience making Snakes on a Plane, revealing that the film initially wasn't targeting an R-rating. As a result, despite Jackson's protests, his iconic line wasn't even filmed during principal photography, with the moment only coming to be after test screenings and a pivot in direction for the movie.

Whether on land or in the sea, there are many creatures wreaking havoc in horror movies. Snakes, spiders, gators, bees... these creepy crawlies are the stuff of nightmares for many viewers. Of course, not all creature features nail the landing when it comes to being terrifying. Some creature features are so bad they're actually kind of good.
Sometimes bad creature features are designed to be campy, yet still thoroughly watchable. Sharknado and Snakes on a Plane are mainstream examples that nailed the formula, but there are also many fantastic hidden gems. These horror films are fun to watch with friends, leading to plenty of laughs mixed in with the scares.

Like many shark movies, the plot of Shark Night 3D is simple: a group of young people have their holiday ruined by sharks. Few shark movies have gained positive attention since Jaws, and one of the issues is the general lack of creativity, as a movie confined to water can be limiting. However, as director of the goofy horror Snakes On A Plane and two Final Destination franchise movies in which people die in improbable ways, director David M. Ellis would likely have been prepared to think outside the box with Shark Night.
Shark Night fails as a movie. However, the shark movie genre has its own rules, and Shark Night is criminally underrated.
