This game is the final installment of the traditional Harry Potter role-playing games. Like the first two games, it follows its own canon separate from the book and the film adaptions. The characters were modelled after their their book descriptions, and the Hogwarts layout appears very much to be an original interpretation. Starting with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the video games are based entirely on the film canon.
