Gerry Anderson originally wanted to remake Les sentinelles de l'air! (1965) but couldn't secure the rights. It took him two years to get the rights to remake Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (1967). After Gerry's death in 2012, a few years later in 2014, ITV announced it would be remaking Thunderbirds for broadcast in 2015, titled Thunderbirds: les sentinelles de l'air (2015).

Alternate versions
When first aired on T.V most violence such as fist fights, Punches and Kicks are edited out, the DVD's are uncut.

Gerry Andisons does it again! 9.8/10 "Fun for all"

What a ride, this new creation of G. Andison is a great hit! I loved every polygon moment of this, not only the graphics that adds a distinct look to this but the ever unfolding plots of the episodes.

A bit violent for the kids though, but the only bad thing is you could only see it in that MOM show which was annoying! You sit there watching a load of other stuff, it takes two hours just to see the first part of Captain Scarlet, it even has a commercial break! Oh well it was worth the wait.

I'm now waiting for the DVD of it so I can watch it probably with no interruptions.
