Electronic Arts rules when it comes to making games like these. The music, the gameplay, the sound effects, and sometimes even the story. If you're interested in going very fast, and moving up the ranks faster than ever, then give this game a try.
You are somewhat of an inexperienced driver who joins the underground street scene. You meet up with the beautiful, yet tough Samantha, who helps you through your first few races. You must buy and build up your car, and make it look cool so that you, the driver, are as cool and good as everyone who races.
I have to say, i was blown out of the water by the soundtrack. Lil' Jon's "Get low" is pretty much the main song for this game, however, it's not an exclusive, like mistikal's "get faster" or Petey Pablo's "Need for speed". there's also good rock alternative music like Story of the year's "And the hero will drown", Static-X's "The only", X-ecutioner's "Body Rock" and Hotwire's "Invisible".
It's a perfect buy. 10/10

The only two Need For Speed games that I would replay again are Shift 1 (2009) and Underground 1 (2003). To me, Underground 2 and the 2005 Most Wanted are more diverse and, at the same time, boring when compared to Underground 1.
The handling, the tracks, and the overall sense of speed in Underground 1 are much more appealing to me than in any other NFS. It is just that the overall gameplay in Underground 1 is smoother and more polished, even with the awful traffic crashes.
With MW and U2, I kind of miss the addictive driving experience that Underground 1 has. There is something about the handling of the cars that fits in perfectly with the types of tracks at the Olympic City in Underground 1.

Ahhh, Need For Speed Underground, one of my favorite games ever and one from my childhood too. The reason why I love it so much and still remembering it is because by the exquisit soundtrack, one of the best city(racing.levels and the ambience) I've seen on a game, oh yeah and memorable characters and cars.
And of course I can't forget about the cars and cars customization, this was the s*** back then on 2003 (one of my favorite years from music, movies and games in general), vinyls, stickers, extreme perfomance modifications, etc.
Although my favorite from the NFS series will be the older ones and hot pursuit 2, this one has a special place on my mind. Everything I've said may sounded exaggerated but this is my first review on this site lol.

I'm not a big fan of racing games. I think they are boring and closed ended. With the exception of Mario Kart Need for Speed was a cool unique game. The gameplay and graphics were the best I've felt for any racing game.
NFSU was a great racing game for pc, despite the bar being set real low for racing games. It was just so smooth, colourful and a blitz to play.

This game is magic, soundtrack, personalizations for cars, gameplay, sound effects, everything is good.
