The peculiar birds that appear repeatedly through the movie are Cairina moschata, better known as the Muscovy duck or Barbary duck.
This movie was made available in 2025 when it was released on inter-regional (region-free) Blu-Ray Disk by Norske Filmklassikere (Norwegian Film Classics), Norsk Filmdistribusjon, and Platekompaniet as the 71st release in a new series with classics, NFK0070, with subtitles in English, and is supposed to be held in stock for film lovers.
