Kanan, Ezra and co. will reunite once more for Star Wars: Rebels season 3, in 2016…
This may not come as too much of a surprise, but Disney Xd’s hugely enjoyable animated series Star Wars: Rebels has been renewed for a third season.
TV Insider broke the news, confirming that the third season of the show – which bridges the gap between Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope, with a surprising amount of high-profile character cameos from the movies and The Clone Wars – will arrive in 2016.
We’d expect Kanan, Ezra and the rest of the Ghost crew to return, assuming they all survive the still-to-come events of season 2. Indeed, hefty events are being teased for next week's 'fall finale.'
As things stand at the moment, we don’t know exactly what will go down in season 3, because season 2 is still far from over.
