Yesterday, Warner Bros. and DC Studios shared the first poster for Superman. The movie will serve as the true launching platform for the new Dcu after Max's Creature Commandos, and excitement for Thursday's trailer is rapidly rising.

In the motion poster shared on social media yesterday, we heard what appeared to be composer John Murphy's score for the reboot. Taking its cues from John Williams' work in Superman: The Movie and, to a lesser extent, Hans Zimmer's Man of Steel theme, it's received a positive response from fans.

Today, Murphy has posted a 30-second clip on YouTube in a video he's named "Theme From Superman." We don't know if this is the Man of Tomorrow's main theme, but it seems to be at least part of it (we'd imagine a full "reveal" is being saved for the trailer).

The 32-year-old actor and musician made his acting debut on the network in 2007 on Hannah Montana (playing himself), right after the Jonas Brothers released their first album on Disney’s Hollywood Records.

Both of those came after the JoBros released “Kids of the Future” from the Meet the Robinsons soundtrack months prior.

Since then, he appeared in both Camp Rock movies and headlined the TV series Jonas, on top of multiple albums.

During his time at the Red Sea Film Festival this week, Nick praised his fellow Disney Channel alums that were on the network at the same time as him, and he reacted to ex Selena Gomez‘s 2025 Golden Globes nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Emilia Perez.

Following the recent success of Colin Farrell’s The Penguin, DC Studios is said to be moving forward with a villain from Batman’s Rogues Gallery, Clayface. As per Variety reports, DC has greenlit the feature film by bringing filmmaker Mike Flanagan on board to write the screenplay for the movie.

The coming-of-age series Young Sheldon serves as a prequel to Tbbt and chronicles the genius Sheldon Cooper's upbringing in the small Texas town of Medford during the late '80s and '90s. Creature Commandos is set to launch a brand new DC Universe, although several components of the previous Dceu have informed some of the new series. The filmmakers' creative direction resulted in Meet the Robinsons becoming one of the greatest time travel movies ever.

Meet the Robinsons is somewhat inspired by a novel from 1990, A Day with Wilbur Robinson. However, the movie introduces a wider range of characters to expand the narrative across its two worlds. There are plenty of amusing moments in Meet the Robinsons, which are counterbalanced by its moving wider story.

As hard as it has been to accept the end of this era – after all the Dceu did manage to assemble some incredible performers such as Gal Gadot in the role of Wonder Woman — we must accept that to start fresh change has to be made. And change has indeed been coming with several new actors...

He also told IGN that their first installment to Chapter One: Gods and Monsters will determine which parts of the Dceu will be included in the new canon. Now in Creature Commandos, you'll hear them talk about things that happened in [The] Suicide Squad or Peacemaker, he said. Well then, those things automatically become canon. Some of those events have been hinted at in the shows trailer, but the show could also explore connections (if any) to the Dceu storylines.

DC fans should not expect a familiar Joker in Matt Reeves' The Batman Epic Crime Saga. The filmmaker has recently opened up about how the Clown Prince of Crime will be reimagined for his big screen debut in a future The Batman sequel.

While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about The Penguin finale and The Batman Part II, Reeves was asked if it has been difficult coming up with a new take on the Joker, given that there have been so many acclaimed versions over the years, notably Heath Ledger's version in The Dark Knight and Joaquin Phoenix's title character in the Joker duology. "Anytime youre going to approach any of these characters, you have to find a fresh way to do it," Reeves explained. "So that makes it incredibly daunting. At the same time, this version of Penguin is a version of Penguin that no one had ever seen.

Xolo Mariduea's Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle will be among the few superheroes to successfully jump from the DC Extended Universe to James Gunn's DC Universe without major changes. The actor recently opened up about how "excited" he is to explore more of Jaime in the upcoming Blue Beetle animated series.

In June, we learned of DC Studios' plans to move forward with an animated Blue Beetle TV series. The show was already in development when the news broke, with Miguel Puga (The Casagrandes) said to have started work on the project months earlier.

He'll serve as showrunner, while Cristian Martinez (Women of the Movement) is writing the series. Angel Manuel Soto and Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, director and screenwriter of the 2023 movie, respectively, executive producing alongside John Ricard. Galen Vaisman, another Blue Beetle executive producer, is overseeing the series for DC Studios.

Jaime Reyes actor Xolo Maridueña is set to reprise his role alongside other actors who starred in the Blue Beetle movie. However, there have been conflicting reports about whether it's a continuation of that or a soft reboot which can bring Jaime into the Dcu without any Dceu baggage.
