[Elder Farrell comments after listening to Holly's "confession"]
Farrell: No, Holly, He loves you just as much as He did when you were a baby. You can never do anything... not anything... that would make Him stop loving you.
Holly: You think so?
Farrell: I know so.

[first lines]
Lozano: [the elders are playing basketball on "P" day. Speaking to Elder Farrell] Come on. Get in here man, we're getting our butts kicked.
[Elder Farrell shakes his head negatively]
Elder Mangum: Come on Farrell, we're one man short.
Sister Savea: I'll do it.
Elder Mangum: I said, we're one MAN short.
Sister Savea: You're one short man, that's what you are.

[Elder Lorenzo and Elder Farrell pass two girls in bikinis on a sidewalk near the beach]
Farrell: Sing a hymn.
Lozano: No way.
Farrell: When you have a dirty thought, sing a hymn.
Lozano: Yeah, my bishop used to tell me that. Every time they sing a hymn in church I have a dirty thought.

[Holly sits at the foot of Elder Farrell's hospital bed]
Holly: It's going to be OK. It is.
Farrell: You don't understand what I've done... you don't understand.
Holly: It's been a long time since I've been inside a church. I don't know very much. Not as much as you. But I do know one thing. Jesus... He forgives. There's nothing so terrible that He won't forgive you. He loves you just as much as He did when you were a baby. He just wants you back. So, I don't know much. But I know that's true.
Farrell: You think so?
Holly: I know so.
Holly: [she puts a crucifix in his hand] You left this. Scott, you don't have to die for your sins. I think somebody already did that.
