If you're not sold yet on The Predator or you love spoilers or you just can't stand the wait until September 14th, 20th Century Fox has released a final red band trailer with two minutes of mostly new footage.

Directed by Shane Black (who co-starred as the wisecracking Rick Hawkins in 1987's Predator) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad), The Predator will feature a suburban showdown between military veterans and a deadly, familiar threat from the stars:

Fox has released the final red-band trailer for Shane Black's The Predator and it's packed with all kinds of crazy fun new footage! I think this trailer gives us our best look yet at the overall vibe of the film. There's a good mix of fun comedy and bloody predator violence. 20th Century Fox has dropped the red-band trailer for franchise reset The Predator ahead of the genre film’s premiere at the start of the Midnight Madness section Thursday at the Toronto Film Festival.

Connoisseurs of the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger original will see some familiar DNA. But director and co-writer Shane Black has taken things in a decidedly Shane Black direction, based on the trailer and footage shown last month at Comic-Con. That means more of everything — more quippy dialogue, more gore, more explosions and more F-bombs. The main reason the trailer earned the red band, in fact, appears to be the promiscuous use of the f-word.

“They’re large, they’re fast, and f*cking you up’s their idea of tourism,” cracks a gimlet-eyed Sterling K. Brown. The cast also includes Boyd Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key and Olivia Munn.

Twentieth Century Fox has revealed a brand new trailer for Shane Black’s The Predator. In this explosive reinvention of the Predator series, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before

Shane Black takes the helm on the follow-up, which is also known as Predator 4; it will also act as a sequel to the original 1987 Predator movie.

Starring alongside Thomas Jane the film has Trevante Rhodes, Alfie Allen, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Yvonne Strahovski, Jake Busey, Jacob Tremblay and Edward James Olmos.

DNA Films and Passion Pictures are partnering for a feature-length documentary about legendary Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, the two companies announced Tuesday. The British production companies, whose credits include Oscar-winning narrative features “The Last King of Scotland” and “Ex Machina” and Oscar-winning documentaries “One Day in September” and “Searching for Sugarman,” will co-produce the new project, which is directed by the soccer legend’s son, Jason Ferguson.

The documentary will have exclusive and unrestricted access to Alex Ferguson, his family and friends, offering fans a deeply personal and revealing account of Ferguson’s life from his working-class roots in Glasgow through to his 26-year tenure as the longest-serving manager of world-renowned British soccer team Manchester United. It is scheduled to begin production in October.

Tom Hardy is taking on the title role in a comic book movie for the first time with this fall’s Sony tentpole “Venom,” but it isn’t the first time the anti-hero has graced the big screen. Topher Grace brought Eddie Brock/Venom to life at the movies in Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man 3,” although critics weren’t too kind to the film or Grace’s late introduction as the film’s third primary antagonist. So how does Grace feel about Hardy taking over his role in a “Venom” standalone movie? Quite thrilled, actually.

The Predator may be going through some additional reshoots, but that's not going to stop me from being excited about the film. Reshoots are a normal part of big-budget filmmaking these days. I've been on board for this movie since the first trailer. I know it's taken a little convincing for other fans, but I'm excited about the movie. I've enjoyed director Shane Black's films over the years and I just hope that he doesn't let us down with this one.

We got a little taste of that in the trailers that have been released.

I really hope that this movie turns out awesome! We recently learned that there were going to be some more reshoots to fix a few things. Hopefully whatever Black is doing with this movie ends up working out because it's going to be a shame if the movie ends up being crap. I'm hoping for the best, though!

Last week the first trailer for The Predator was released and while I enjoyed it, a lot of fans weren't too thrilled. I think this movie is going to be a lot better than fans think it will be. Shane Black is a solid and talented director! Sure, Iron Man 3 may not have worked out very well, but Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and The Nice Guys were both fantastic movies! He's also written a good amount of classic films like Monster Squad and the Lethal Weapon films. I just think the odds are in his favor.

Yesterday the first trailer was released for Shane Black's The Predator. If you haven't seen it yet, you've gotta check it out now. For the most part, fans didn't seem impressed. Personally, I'm on board. I liked what I saw in the trailer, but it seems the majority of people didn't. A lot of people are hilariously pointing out that "From the Director of Iron Man 3" was a big marketing fail.

Regardless, I'm excited about the movie. I'm a big fan of the franchise and I really hope that this movie turns out great. Hopefully, the studio eventually releases a trailer that will give the fans hope for the film because that first trailer obviously didn't work.

Shane Black’s long talked about return to The Predator is almost here. 20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for the filmmakers return to the Predator series. Black starred in and was an uncredited writer on the original 1987 film staring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Since the initial film, the series has seen numerous sub-par entries that haven’t lived up to the original. Nerds have wanted a proper sequel since before I was born (1988), and we were hoping this would be that movie. Only time will tell, but check out the trailer and judge for yourself.

Capping off a busy day for The Predator camp, Empire Magazine has debuted a never-before-seen action shot from the Shane Black sequel. And let’s just say we wouldn’t want to wind up on the wrong side of a pissed-off alien hunter.

In fact, while the ugly motherfucker introduced in John McTiernan’s original classic was a nasty beast capable of ripping out a human spine, the Predators of Fox’s redo are genetically enhanced killing machines – strongest, faster, smarter and deadlier than their ancestors.

Shane Black’s name is not mentioned once in The Predator, he who gave us the franchise’s first entry, Lethal Weapon, The Last Boy Scout, The Long Kiss Goodnight, and, most recently, The Nice Guys relegated to a credit for Iron Man 3 — surely a work that trumps memory of any other noted herein. Nor can we sense a great deal of his ear. New work from the inconsistent but entertaining (and entertainingly inconsistent) auteur du snark is new work, however, and the shape hinted at in this first peek is classic Black. The only thing outright missing is a Christmas setting.

The original Predator movie is one of my favorite monster movies around, and despite the ups and downs (a lot of downs) in the franchise, I've always been eager for more. Nimrod Antal's Predators film (which I can't believe is already eight years old) is the last time we've seen the alien hunters on the big screen, but Shane Black's film is supposed to take place Before that, and after the events of the first two Predator films. 

So yeah, it's technically another sequel that's supposed to fit in with everything, but at the same time, Fox is hoping to use The Predator to relaunch the franchise. It's something I've been looking forward to quite a bit.

After lighting up the halls of CinemaCon with blood, sci-fi action and ugly motherfuckers, 20th Century Fox has summoned the first-look trailer for The Predator, Shane Black and Fred Dekker’s old-school continuation that’s said to take place between the events of Predator 2 (1990) and the botched Predators reboot of 2010.

It shares more DNA with the former sequel, given the suburban setting, but just don’t be fooled into thinking that Black’s squad of Special Forces will be hunting a single extra-terrestrial when in reality, a pool of Predators will be hunting them. Yes, the universe’s most feared creatures are back, back, back, and they’ve seemingly taken a leaf out of Jurassic World‘s book by genetically upgrading themselves with the DNA of other species. It’s been a long time coming – too long, perhaps – but it seems 20th Century Fox and director Shane Black are about to unleash The Predator.

Amid reports that the first-look teaser will be attached to Deadpool 2 when it hits theaters next week – fitting, really, given they’re both R-rated properties being angled toward a similar demographic – we now have firm confirmation that the trailer will be released online tomorrow, and the likes of Jake Busey, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key and Sterling K. Brown have taken to social media in order to drum up excitement.

Up first is Busey, who has signed on to play the son of Gary Busey’s character from Predator 2 – talk about keeping things in the family. His Tweet alludes to The Predator’s thermal vision, while Trevante Rhodes favored a straight-up shot of his Special Forces commando looking a little disturbed by the events unfolding around him.

By now, I’m sure that many of you reading this who share a love for intergalactic hunters known to have given the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover headaches in years prior are wondering just where the hell the first trailer promoting The Predator may be.

Previously, we’d been told it’d drop sometime in April, but I guess sometimes grownups say things to make us feel better. Well, actually, that did kind of ring true because footage was said to be shown to those fortunate enough to be in attendance at CinemaCon, which was described as containing “lots of blood, action and explosions.” In other words, that’s pretty much what you’d expect from this franchise.

As for the rest of us, we’ve been forced to wait for a time, but it seems like we won’t have to sit tight for much longer.

Director Colin Trevorrow says Jurassic World 3 won’t include any new hybrid dinosaurs. Technically speaking, of course, all the dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies are “hybrid dinosaurs” in a sense. This was even addressed by the Henry Wu character in Jurassic World, when he pointed out both Jurassic Park and Jurassic World (the establishments) featured dinosaurs whose genomes include DNA from other animals.

20th Century Fox gave the press a first look at their upcoming releases at Thursday’s CinemaCon 2018 Presentation in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The studio, soon to be a Disney property for $52.4 billion, showed footage from the films hitting theaters soon, including Bohemian Rhapsody.

One of the films I was most looking forward to seeing footage from at CinemaCon this year was for director Shane Black's The Predator! I love this franchise! I loved the first two films and the fact that this next movie is set after the events that take place in those films makes me happy.

The first trailer for the film was screened during 20th Century Fox's presentation and it begins with a shot of a house in a suburban neighborhood on Halloween. All of the kids are out trick-or-treating and it looks like a scene right out of Halloween night in Steven Spielberg's E.T. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what Shane Black was going for.

20th Century Fox has being keeping Shane Black’s “The Predator” under lock and key. For a studio tentpole and franchise sequel that’s set for release in almost four months, it’s a bit unusual and extremely enticing that the studio has yet to make any footage or movie stills available to the public. Fortunately, Fox pulled back the curtain on “The Predator” during its CinemaCon presentation.

“The Predator” is set in between 1990’s “Predator 2” and 2010’s “Predators.” The alien creatures have managed to upgrade themselves with the DNA from other species, making them stronger, smarter, and deadlier than predators we’ve seen before. The story kicks in when a young boy (Jacob Tremblay) accidentally triggers the predators return to Earth. A ragtag crew of soldiers and scientists, played by Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, and Trevante Rhodes, are tasked with saving the human race.

Although it could be argued that the Predator franchise is rather hit or miss, there’s no denying that the creature itself remains among the most iconic in science fiction/horror history. Having always been a marvel when it comes to prosthetic-based costume design, it likely gives moviegoers nightmares to this day – regardless of whether they’re able to get to the choppa before waking.

As for which entries into the series resonated most with audiences, one could say that the original flick starring Arnold Schwarzenegger was the only to achieve “classic” status, but the sequel does have its supporters. Still, those that followed – namely a couple crossover films with Alien and 2010’s Predators – proved to be a bit more divisive, but we’re hoping that director Shane Black’s upcoming offering will set things right.

Practically a curse for some this one, and now a contender for Worst Bond Ever. This is a bit harsh: Die Another Day doesn’t deserve the opprobrium heaped upon it. The second half of the film is utterly ludicrous but fun if you go along for the (invisible) ride; alas, the first half promised something far more intriguing. It wouldn’t be completely accurate to say it begins as Licence To Kill and ends as Moonraker; but nor is it totally unfair.

The seemingly endless wait for the Syfy summer schedule is finally over! There is good news and bad, and one thing that is both good and bad. Let’s start with that: the Eureka Season Finale. We love Eureka, so every episode is good news; the fact that it’s a series finale, not so much. Mark your calendars – and have plenty of Kleenex in stock – for July 16 at 9/8c. Right after Comic-Con, which is early this year. We’ll see if that means a panel or not.

Yes, promo has started and yes, so has filming but the news still flows in for Batman. Showblitz via @theinsneider have revealed that joining the already large cast will be Matthew Modine and Tom Conti (well known for British tv, like Donovan), and super young actor Joey King in roles that are, as of now, a mystery. Then again, we have names for some characters and they too are mysteries. For example, I seriously doubt 'Miranda Tate' (Marion Cotillard) is merely some woman who works for Wayne Industries, oh no. What I will add too, is that they should add a role for Tom Berenger. He was great in Inception.
