    Must see pilot to series

Whether or not you're seeing the pilot before the series or trying to catch this segment in between episodes, it's a must-see for all TPB fans, and though only about 70 min. in length and shot entirely in black and white, the pilot centers around Julian & Ricky, pals from high school. Story is told from the viewpoint of Julian who thinks he has only 5 days left to live after learning his fate from a phone psychic. Ricky balks at the news and the two guys go on with their everyday activities which includes their work as self-employed pet exterminators. This is something not mentioned during the series; the boys are looking for higher profit ventures. The relationship between Lucy & Ricky and Lucy & Julian is explained. Some missing characters which haven't yet been developed include Bubbles, park supervisor Jim Lahey and his pear-shaped shirtless henchman Randy. Actor Patrick Roach appears as a different character. Minor characters Cory & Trevor are introduced and return as series regulars.

Trailer Park Boys has evolved into the greatest form of comedy known to television the world over.

Mike Clattenburg, director and producer of the show, didn't just create the greatest comical mockumentary in television history. He set a new standard in comedy and television period! It is almost incomprehensible to see how the show has evolved over the years to the outrageously addictive comedy that it is today. What started as a black and white low budget film about two uneducated, drug dealing felons from a trailer park having a camera crew document their lives has become Canada's greatest television series of all time. Season one added several new residents to the Nova Scotia trailer park known as Sunnyvale. I can't say season one was all that good but it did do a good job of introducing the characters and preparing you for the highly addictive, mind altering, hypnotic seasons to come. By the time you have watched all seven episodes of the second season, you are hooked and have to see seasons 3-7, the season 8 special, both movies (The Big Dirty and Countdown to Liquor Day), and whatever else you can find about The Trailer Park Boys. From the pilot to the last movie and Hearts of Dartsmouth to the Darkest One music video by Tragically Hip starring Julian, Ricky, and Bubbles, you will be captivated and convinced of the new standard in comedy that is The Trailer Park Boys.

    Extremely funny trailer trash film

This is an early film "Pilot" for the hit Canadian tv show Trailer Park Boys. It was played to executives at a few networks before Showcase decided to sign them up for a tv series. Great acting and a very funny cast make this one of the best cult comedy films. The movie plot is that these two small time criminals go around "exterminating" peoples pets for money. If you have a dog next door whos barking all night these are the guys you go to! But they get into trouble when they come across a job too big for them to deal with and end up in a shootout. Watch this movie if you want to understand the beginning of the tv series. I highly recommend it!

Rated R for swearing, violence, and drug use.

Its not too offensive either (they dont actually show killing animals)

    A Must SEE

This show is great...words alone cannot describe the wild antics of this trailer park...Julian the obvious ringleader is in complete control over this bunch of misfits...His leadership is tested by all most everyone on the show....If you are just catching up to this show you must go out right now and buy the DVD......I said now
