Hilarious Egyptian Comedy

I saw this movie on an Egyptian bus from Siwa to Alexandria. Fortunately for me, the English subtitles were turned on. This movie reminded me of the hilarious and stupid comedies that used to come out of America decades ago- I'm talking about stuff like the Three Stooges and Abbott and Costello. It was good to see Egyptian comedy keeping that old tradition alive in the 21st century. These days, that tradition has all but died in America, and most comedies are full of sexual and sometimes mean-spirited humor. But Limby is just a simple comedy where stupid people do stupid things, and nobody really gets hurt. I'm glad I had the opportunity to watch it. I got to see a surprising and very funny side of Egypt.

More than I expected

I saw this title long ago but can still remember the good lines. Many people attacked this title saying that it is simply with no purpose and no message. I say to them that this film NEVER claimed to be educational or inspirational or deep in meaning. The producers simply wanted to make a comedy where people would laugh all the way through it and THEY DELIVERED!!

If you are looking for a deep movie with a serious message then look some where else. but if you're looking to spend 2 hours of non-stop laughter then go and rent this movie and watch it. you won't regret it.

There is a new comedian star coming and that's Mohammad Saad.

We need Ellembi again

A comedy, farcical, superficial movie, but it is beautiful and has a special spirit

The character of Ellembi represents every young Egyptian who can lose his way and cannot achieve his dreams due to the economic crisis in Egypt and bureaucracy.

Mohamed Saad is a real talent who can use all his muscles and body expressions to serve the character... I hope that he will soon return to Ellembi character in upcoming films!

Abla Kamel, Ellembi's mom, is, firstly, a wonderful and talented actress. I love her very much.

She performed the character beautifully and comedically in so simple and easy way

Don't expect any story or plot in this movie, it's just for laughs, and you can help him while you're high

Highly recommended.
