Farmington Players Presents Miracle On 34th Street 11/20-12/13
"Faith is believing in things when common sense tells you not to." It's a timeless message from a classic play, Miracle on 34th Street. The holiday hit that has captivated countless families runs November 20th to December 13th at The Farmington Players Barn Theater in Farmington Hills. ABC wins light Sunday with NBA Finals' Game 5
Seth Green, Mila Kunis, Alex Borstein, and Seth MacFarlane in Les Griffin (1999)
ABC had little competition Sunday for its NBA Finals coverage as the San Antonio Spurs pulled ahead of the Detroit Pistons with their overtime victory in Game 5 of the best-of-seven championship series. Reliable national ratings for ABC's live game coverage won't be available until Tuesday, but preliminary estimates indicate that even with the competition serving up mostly reruns, ABC saw only a modest turnout for the buzzer-beater game ended with a 96-95 win for the Spurs. Other than the NBA, the only programs posting numbers of note were the only fresh entertainment series on the schedule, Fox's 9-10 p.m. combo of Family Guy, which averaged 7.2 million viewers and a healthy 3.8 rating/11 share in the adults 18-49 demographic, and American Dad (6.7 million, 3.4/9), according to preliminary estimates from Nielsen Media Research. CBS had a credible turnout for its 9-11 p.m. repeat airing of its Tom Selleck starrer Twelve Mile Road, which cracked the 10 million viewer mark in its second hour.
