El Candidato Honesto (The Honest Candidate) stars La Hora Pico stars Adrian Uribe, Mariana Seoane, and Teresa Ruiz, and is described as a variation of Jim Carrey's Liar Liar comedy, but set in Mexico's political climate. The Mexican comedy will arrive in movie theaters in the United States on September 6 after the movie opened as the top local film in Mexico last weekend to $2 million.
